“Nice first floor bar/restaurant overlooking the harbour and town square. Excellent comprehensive menu and reasonably priced with good selection of wines. Friendly staff and quite quick service despite being busy. We both had Cullen Skink and I had lasagne both of which were tasty. Nice Tempranillo wine to wash it all down”

“My family and I are return customers to the Cannon hotel and i really cant fault the place. We stayed last week and Dawn and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and nothing was to much trouble for them. The various rooms we have stayed in over the years were spacious, clean and really nice. The breakfast was excellent ( the haggis especially). The hotel is a 2 minute walk away from the main restaurants and pubs and any time we have been going any where else on the island Dawn has been more than happy to organise a taxi for us. I am looking forward to returning the same time next year, my family loves our holidays to rothesay and one of the big reasons for that is the welcoming we get from the Cannon hotel.”
