We visit Bute several times a year and come to the Esplanade for lunch every time. There is a wide selection of delicious meals to choose from and currently even a festive menu. We rate the macaroni cheese as the best we have had in Scotland! Sticky toffee pudding also delicious! First class, friendly service from the owner.... read full comment

Didn't stay in hotel but ate in restaurant.Suppose to be hand cut chips , they were frozen chips full of hard bits.Not the best I've ever
