The decor is typical of these old castles (mid-19th century) which one expects with modern comfort and flawless heating at the same time.The main room is amazing, spacious and functional with its seating area for aperitifs with views of the Loch and the mountains. If there was damage as read in a comment, everything has been repaired.We were able to dance there with no problem and some of the guests were even able to play a few tunes on the piano.The 11 rooms (on 5 levels) are unique and carefully decorated. Cozy, comfortable, they offer storage. Bedding and sheets are perfect.The 8 bathrooms have been completely renovated with top-of-the-range equipment and there is always hot water.The towels provided (Ralph Lauren) are impeccable.Cleanliness is impeccable everywhere.Some of the suites are very spacious, with a view, and others are more intimate and cosy, but everyone immediately appreciated the place, taking ownership of the different spaces.The kitchen is incredible with all the amenities: dishwasher, American fridge, plenty of dishes, pantry, washing machine, etc...Dele, the owner, gave us the address of a café in Kilcreggan (nearby village) with a catering service run by SIONA and its team who took care of everything: meals at home, tailor-made menus (cold or hot ), setting up in the dining room (atypical!), clearing, cleaning, tidying up, etc...
