“Had a great night’s sleep even though it is in the city centre. Bed very big and comfortable and the free minibar is a nice touch. Breakfast a bit expensive for what it was but altogether a good experience staying here.Rooms: Decent sized room with minibar, team/coffee making facilities. Hairdryer, iron, trouser press.Walkability: Close to the bus and train stations - right in the centre of the city.”

“Great hotel, lovely staff with fast and effortless check-in… I highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast is great, you can choose cook breakfasts from the menu, along with a buffet where you’ll find a full continental breakfast spread with coffee, juices etc.”

“Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it! The location was perfect, and the hotel was clean, spacious, and beautifully styled. Our room was fantastic, with plenty of space and a great view. The reception staff were professional and very helpful — thank you for a lovely stay!”

“Just had the best Haggis, neeps and tatties EVER. I have lived in Scotland 18 years and this is the best I've eaten. Well presented with a panko style crust, a layer of neeps, topped with a generous swirl of mashed potato. Peppercorn sauce adds a bit of bite. James is an excellent host. Chef and staff are to be commended. Dog friendly inside too. Well worth a visit.”

“Our stay was great. We came with a child that has sensory issues so they upgraded us free of charge to a room that was on a quite side. Not around the area where the weading are being held. Staff was really nice. Great place to start your journey. I do recommend this place if you have a car. Not sure what are the options for public transport. I will defenatley be coming back”

“Great central location only 5 minutes from bus and train stations. As of 15/2/2020 going under some refurbishment, didnt affect our stay on the 17th floor.Room overviewUpdated 21/3/2024, hotel getting refurbished again. The new style room again we stayed on the 17th floor has updated lighting, walk in shower and a nice addition a table with 2 seats and luggage rack. The big desk and wardrobe in front of TV has gone replaced with a slim shelf with power points and usb and usb c.The wardrobe unit is now an open shelving unit with the kettle and tea and coffee facilities integrated. Still has space for 4-5 hangersBed areaBeds have a fixed small shelf either side, of the bed with usb and power point, the bedside shelf quite small but enough space for my glasses, phone and bottle of water.BathroomThe bathroom is nicely refreshed. The walk in shower is a nice change, easier to get in and out, and with the glass shower screen no more issues of the shower curtain sticking to your butt, and screen just feels much cleaner than that fabric curtain.Issue during our stayThe only downside to the room, is the Aircon/heating wasn't working. My wife likes the room warm when you are awake but like a walk in freezer at night, thankfully it was that hot over night, the friendly stuff did supply a small oil filled heater to get take out of the room. And even offered to move us to another room.HotelReceiption is located on the second floor, a access lift is located at entrance of the hotel to allow guests to get to the main lifts, as there are 10 steps at the entrance of hotel.Lifts.Strange random floor generator lifts, or maybe the lifts are haunted.Request floor 17, the lift would proceed in an upward direction, stop at floor 6 and open the doors to nobody, then descend to floor 0 then up to floor 4 and open to the ghost of premier inn. Then finally speedily up to floor 17.RoomsThe rooms are spread over 14 floors, floors 14,15,16 are premier inn plus rooms. The rest of the standard room and spread over the remaining floors, if you not a fan of heights. avoid floors 17,18. The view from our room was looking up sauchiehall street, and on this clear day you could see for milesBreakfastFirst time we've had breakfast in Premier inn in a long time. I would have to say the all you can eat buffet was one of the best I've had, and constantly being topped up by the kitchen staff, all items lovely and hot. Good selection of items and porridge and poached eggs available by request (not in the same bowl). The Bar/restaurant/breakfast is located on the 2nd turn right at reception.”

“I used this hotel to support a Sporting event. The rooms are nice, I enjoyed the bar area to relax in after the six hour journey. Breakfast was good as it had everything. It is a taxi journey from Glasgow central but it did not cost too much. I will go again to this hotel.”

“Good relatively central location. Our room was clean, had plenty of space, a comfy bed, central heating/air conditioning worked okay and had a bath and shower. Extra pillows were already provided. There was limited wardrobe or hanging space for a longer stay.Extra tea, coffee, milk is readily available in reception without the need to ask.All staff were helpful, pleasant, looked happy and attentive to me and my wife. The restaurant is nice if basic looking and serves good food. The meal deal is the best value but for the price breakfasts are extensive. The bar/lounge area is inviting and comfortable with a good range of speciality drinks. Prices are very reasonable. You definitely can’t check in before 3pm. Unless you've paid the extra £10 of course. There will be a decent queue on approach to 3pm.There is a room to leave cases if you have more time on departure day.”

“The receptionist and her colleague were so polite and welcoming - she had long dark hair, I forget her name. Her and her colleague were advising us about parking for the Tutankhamen Exhibition. She was just so genuine and had real customer service skills.”

“On arrival as a family of 3 loaded with cases etc we checked in and got the lift to the first floor room 109, not the best premier inn room we’ve ever had and needed a deep clean but the beds were clean. Had a good first nights sleep but arrived back at 11.30pm with no housekeeping been done. So we assumed it was an oversight and at 11.30pm weren’t going back to request it be done. However it happened again on the Saturday night so on Sunday morning we asked why there was no housekeeping to be told ‘you have to ask for it’ ‘there are posters in the lift and on your floor’ what a ridiculous thing to implement!!!! Why not ask at check in? If this is now the case in ALL premier inns I will not be using them again! I doubt they will see this or care but if they want to retain loyal customers they need to tell you when booking or at least at check in!”

“I had an amazing overnight stay for mother's Day with my daughter, it was beautiful. So comfortable the staff are lovely Andrew was on when I arrived, so welcoming and Hayden was on front desk in the morning he had answers to all questions I had as the building is stunning. It was such a special stay for me. Will absolutely be back.”

“A bit noisy because of the weak sound isolation between rooms. Location wise, it is a 10-minute walk to city centre, if you need convenience, another Travelodge would be better. But for quietness, this 1 is better”

“I predominantly use the Marriott chain of hotels when stopping away, hence why the Marriott is my first choice in Glasgow. To be perfectly honest, it's a little bit tired and dated, but at the time of writing (March 24), the hotel is going through a referbishment project. The rooms aren't particularly big but they are equipped with everything you need, there is an executive lounge (if you book an exec room) with complimentary alcoholic drinks and snacks, and quite a good gym and swimming pool. It's located on the edge of the Glasgow city centre, right off the motorway, but it does fall within the new Glasgow LEZ zone, so be careful if driving and your car is in compliant. I think there are about 180 parking spaces, costing £12 a 24h per resident.”
