“I was down in Edinburgh for the weekend recently and I had forgot to pack my diabetic tablets. I went into the pharmacy to explain and the staff were amazing sorted me out with tablets very quickly. 10/10 service. Thanks again guys.”

“This place is actually a bad place.When you have nabures.that comes to your door at 1am on a Sunday morning &puts their hand to your throat.then you go flying backwards.in to a steel electric wall radiator and damage your back .constant lower back .and lots of medications & my back still soar .being sick constant &cold &hot sweats .that's a bad thing you did”

“Wanted to give huge credit to the new staff in your Woodburn branch. For a long time the service wasn’t great, always queues and excuses to why mistakes were being made but what a transformation of late! The staff couldn’t be more helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble and not more queues. No issues at all ordering a script for my daughter which Boots would not order in due to cost! Well done everyone!! ❤️”

“I have used this pharmacy for over 15 years and consider it to be the best in my area.Never had any problems with my prescription and find the staff very helpful if you need medical advice.Mohammed the main pharmacist always asks how my health is and is very polite ?”

“This is a very small branch of Boots with only 3 staff members including the pharmacist. They’ve always been very helpful and knowledgeable. I noticed other reviewers leaving bad feedback based on the fact that this branch closes each day between 1pm - 2pm.

This occurs because by law, the dispensing pharmacist must be available onsite at all times when medicine is being handed over to customers….even if by non-pharmacist staff. It’s for patient safety. Therefore that branch MUST close for 1 hour else the one and only pharmacist would not be able to take a break during the entire working day. Obviously, the 2 other staff members, will have to take their break at the same time. They cannot stagger staff breaks as they only have 3 staff, this is a very busy branch and all 3 members must therefore be on duty at the same time.”

“No delay. Polite staff. Adequate explanations. One definite suggestion (I am a doctor). One of the first signs of Parkinison's is a reduced frequency of blinking. Perhaps you could screen for this by noting slow blinking when air jets are testing for raised intra-ocular presure”

I normally use the LLoyds branch up at East Craig’s as it’s slightly closer for me, but Ive had so many problems with Lloyds, so I will definitely be using Rowlands for all my pharmacy requirements going forward.”

“This wee pharmacy went so far above and beyond to help me.I just spent the last three weeks visiting Scotland on a business trip. My suitcase was lost by the airline, and missing for six full days. Inside of that suitcase, with some much-needed medication, and the team at this pharmacy was able to help me, a non-UK citizen, get everything sorted out in less than four hours.I don’t want to put too fine of a point on it, but they may have literally saved my life. While I may have been fine without the meds, I know that I would have been stressed beyond belief for the entirety of my trip. Leanne and her team were so nice and calm and helpful, that that alone made all the difference”

Two staff members contacted my GP and I am not sure how they did it but successfully managed to get them to fax/email a prescription through. All other pharmacists were closed but Boots was available and put the medicine aside in advance via phonecall so I didn't miss it.On picking up, the Lead Pharmacist (Nalia Ali) was great. Friendly, helpful and did all the due diligence to make sure things were correct. I even received a follow up call on her recommendation as the doctors dosage seemed higher.Excellent service.”
