Department Stores in Clydebank, Scotland

“Clydebank Co-op is a great old fashioned department store right at the bottom of the shopping centre. It has a food hall on the ground floor, with Clydebank's main post office at the back of it. In the actual department store there is a nice wee cafe with free wifi. The store sells everything you can think of. Baby goods, toys, musical instruments, electrical appliances, fancy goods, DIY goods, clothing and book. Worth a visit for a look at the lovely old building alone.”

“Not bad and got a decent pair of combat trousers at decent price. Just feels a bit like a jumble sale of clothes and hard to find the brand you like. Decent enough ??”

“I like aldi, it offers great choice and value for money. Only check your dates as some products may go off fairly quickly. If products are damaged or they have a bubble effect or crinkly effect on the package such as cheese or red meat do not buy as there is air in it and bacteria as these products should be heat sealed. Also if you buy red meat, lift and look underneath the package, if the meat is brown do not buy for the same principle as above. This I do in every store. Mostly fresh meat and dairy will do this, so don't rely on dates, check!! For bread look at the date then if it says (1) it means take one away from the date and that will be the date your bread will be good for. Aldi isn't too bad for this but some stores are so just check. Aldi does offer good choice of products but I would like to see a larger Asian product choice such as capaccino chickpeas they were delicious, and other foods. They do special buys which are fun. I would definitely recommend this store. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble, they work tirelessly to make your shopping experience memorable. Happy shopping to all. X”

“I was in Matalan Clydebank last Friday and have to say I was served by the most pleasant assistant I've come across in a very long time. The lady who served me was so helpful, friendly and professional. I did comment at the time how lovely she had been but I feel her manager should also know what a fantastic job this member of staff is doing and how much I appreciated her excellent customer service. I've checked my receipt and I was at till 2 and the ID No is 15, I hope this identifies the lovely lady who served me.”
