We went to a party at the Blue boar with some lovely friends. We were asked to sit down at 7 30 and the starter was fine. Food was okay, had to wait a long time and shoved in a corner, have been turned away previously due to being ‘bookings only’ even though several tables free. Once we came the service was awful, we had to ask to be seated 4 times , staff moody and didn’t want to serve and had to wait 25 mins for drinks once ordered... read full comment

Had a meal which the starter didn't seem cooked and had egg shell in mine.The main pork was a good size but tastless veg wasn't even cooked and I couldn't eat it. Mash was like powder mash. My husbands beef was so small for the price.Not once were we asked if everything was OK just do you want more drink....and then charged... read full comment
