“Immy in the children’s section was absolutely fantastic, they talked to me about loads of books we had in common and gave me a great recommendation with Inkheart. A gorgeous bookshop with great staff. Thank you :)”

“Nice little second hand bookshop. They have multiple sections, ranging from religion to language to food, hobby, and crafts to politics and philosophy. The store has two floors (a downstairs) and the books are heavily discounted. Selection changes frequently as they always get more book donations. Friendly staff members. Cards and cash accepted here. Highly recommended!.”

“Two floors of extraordinary used books, donated by the kind people of Oxford, including text books, children's books, novels, literature, maps, recipe books, art books, religion, philosophy, and books in multiple languages (including Latin and Greek). High quality new and nearly new books shelved alongside gems from the last few centuries. Check out the antiquarian section next to the till; friendly staff will point you in the right direction in your book quest. Donations welcome, but please phone ahead so they can be accommodated. One of the must visit shops in town.”

“Expensive but it is a Service station. Stopped selling alcohol after 10pm when staying at the nearby hotel never had a problem. Was told by members of staff it was due to people stealing . Asked if they could get the bottles out the fridge they said no. Bit confused by it all”

“Wonderful place for budget shopping. Many stores for cheap buys- Savers, Iceland, Poundland and more. One stop shop for a lot of daily needs.I only wish it was closer to the city centre and easier to commute to. It's quite far from the city but there are regular buses.”

“Nice thrift shop, I always find something here. But the changing room is closed still, which is quite annoying because you can't try on any pants. Interesting people who work here, one time a really loud guy singing to very loud music that I could tell scared customers away haha.”

“Useful resource while visiting the Churchill. Good variety of stock, including books, magazines and (strangely) M&S sandwiches. Staff were friendly, and there was the option of self-service till or staffed.”

“Fav. place in oxford is Blackwell's and this Nero Coffee is the best spot for an essay writing inspiration or casual reading. The coffee itself is good, a bit over priced (specially if you want to add non dairy plant based milk to anything you drink?), but good if you consider the overall experience.”
