“(late review of a visit I had last year)Want in for something on the local folklore and was not disappointed. I found a wonderful book called folktales by kevin manwaring. Armed with this, I went galavanting around the countryside, finding the spots in the book. I also picked up some great books about the heroes and villains of Tolkien, and a British copy of the name of the wind by Patrick Rothfus which I'd lost my copy of in the US. Their fantasy and fiction section was awesome, and the person behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. Lovely bookstore!!”

“I thought a post office in whsmith would never work. Guess what... I was wrong. It is run efficiently and whsmith offer a far greater better value range of stock than the post office ever did. As for WH Smith them selves they have always offered a good range of books, notebooks, pens, magazines etc., The entrance and shop is suitable for disabled customers and there is disabled parking near by”
