“Beautiful pub with gorgeous rooms. Stayed one night, walked across the fields and back for dinner. It was very quiet at first, but became busier which helped with the atmosphere. We both enjoyed a 3 course meal opting for the lamb main which was cooked very well. The room was compact but beautiful and the bed was huge! The bedding all very high quality and the outlook was stunning into a beautiful tree. The pub has a really pretty garden with lots of parking. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Will absolutely return one day.”

“A delightful night's stay.Dinner was exceptional and the reasonably priced bottle of red, delicious.The staff were very welcoming, accommodating and friendly.Breakfast came with plenty of options and was good.The room was comfortable but a little on the tired side, especially the shower room.I would be very happy to return.”

“The rooms need updating, the bathroom was full of mould - but otherwise the room was clean. Sadly on the second floor for a family booking, but we made it work.Staff all very friendly, location is great (Starbucks outside and the town is amazing) so overall a great hotel.”

“Nice hotel conveniently situated for easy walk into burford with bonus of free parking. Hotel staff pleasant. Room comfortable but like some of the areas could do with a fresh coat of paint and modernising some of the furniture. Breakfast was very good....would recommend the porridge, good sized English breakfast.”
