“Beautiful pub with gorgeous rooms. Stayed one night, walked across the fields and back for dinner. It was very quiet at first, but became busier which helped with the atmosphere. We both enjoyed a 3 course meal opting for the lamb main which was cooked very well. The room was compact but beautiful and the bed was huge! The bedding all very high quality and the outlook was stunning into a beautiful tree. The pub has a really pretty garden with lots of parking. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Will absolutely return one day.”

“Change of ownership and boy what a sea change! Beautiful & everything fabulous. Has its own grounds with ample parking. Fantastic beds. This is a luxurious boutique hotel. French/Italian fusion restaurant opens in the Spring! Best place in Burford, hands down.”

“Had a lovely cream tea, lovely and cozy with a lovely warm fire in the winter. Lovely fresh scones with cream and jam. Staff were very attentive and polite. We left headphones in the restaurant and one of the staff kindly found us while we were driving away to return it.”

Haven’t been here before but with so many pubs shut we chose the burford house hotelThe menu is very pub menu which is greatI had southern fried chicken sand which which is so tasty and tender and my partner had bacon Brie and cranberry which also was really nice.
