“A modern, spacious, well stocked store, with friendly staff. I have done our weekly shop here for the past four years (previous site on Comber Road), and have recently found more and more Tesco shoppers shopping here for the quality and better prices. Granted, it may not have the range of Tesco, and the aisles of rowing boats and painting easels could be given over to a better selection of food items, it has the necessities and a decent hot coffee machine in the foyer, for £1! What's not to like??!! ??? Shout out to Adrienne and Gavin.....Chatty, friendly, smiley and worth a visit! ?”

“I love this wee shop. It’s the centre of the universe! They’ve always got a good variety of foods, including a ‘free from’ section where I get my gluten free biccies! Friendly staff, who were happy to order some things in, just for me. Couldn’t do without our Spar!”

“It's a great wee place to go get the essentials.The staff are friendly and willing to help. The hot food counter is pretty good as well.The place has greatly improved over the years and just getting better and better.I love looking around this place.The only issue I have is the pricing of SOME of the things in there.They're not crazy prices, but I can definitely go somewhere else and get the exact same thing for a bit cheaper.It's mostly the sandwiches and fresh produce in the fridges. But overall, this is a solid place.”

“With new restrictions in place i thought tesco cafe in Newtownards were fantastic. Quick, chatty, pleasant and food was neat and delicious ? I seen some bad reviews so was worried when we went up in the lift what to expect. But it was brill and kids made to feel welcome. Will be back for another mango smoothie and ulster fry.”

“Lots of stocked shelves, and the bonus discount for card holders really does help. There are yellow stickers for loyalty card holders they pay yellow sticker prices. And it really does make a difference.”
“Could you please thank your security man, i fell leaving your store on Thursday afternoon. My trolley stuck and he told me to pull it back. As i was doing this my foot caught as someone had moved a triangular sign. Your security guard lifted me up with help from a customer and asked if i was ok. I was more embarrassed. Never thanked him. Nothing broken but badly bruised.”
