“Recently stayed here for a few days to visit family/friends. This place a steeped in history and apparently has its own ghost who wanders around the hotel, but sadly I never felt her presence! It's a quirky place and our room though a tad dated was still spotless and clean. Everything worked, and had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is included in the price and you can have cereal, toast etc or a traditional Ulster fry. We did on 2 occasions have a evening meal which along with a decent sized portion was excellent. Washed down with a proper pint of Guinness! Staff were always friendly and couldn't do enough for you. It's been many years since we've been in Carrick but would definitely stay here again.”
