Returned some flooring here. My partner phones in advance to explain we had an extra pack and was told we could return it with a refund, minus £30 fee. That was fine. I came into the shop to drop it off, clearly carrying a pack of flooring and the chat at the door nodded his head to a colleague, suggesting he was busy...
