“The Antiques Centre York is quite a place, a real step back in time. I've only ever seen one bigger such establishment which was in Blackpool. Everywhere you look there are cabinets filled with porcelain, curiosities, memorabilia, stamps, oldwar helmets & a myriad of everything else you'll never find again in the shops. There's basement, ground floor & 1st floor levels literally packed with eye candy, very well presented & clean, with roaming staff checking if you'd like to see anything closer. I'd love to take a longer closer look on my next visit to York. An amazing place.”
“Great selection of teas, hot chocolates and coffee. There are always 2 hot chocolates and 2 teas to sample which sre a great way to sample the drinks. You can also smell samples of the teas before buying.There is a good selection of strainers and teapots as well for the loose leaf tea.”
“Robert who sold us our bed was brilliant he went through everything with us showed us different beds and matterresses and we also went on the bed machine to see which one would suit us both excellent service. ?”

The shop is not that big and I feel it should have been bigger, for the sheer number of customers that goes in. Overall a great used bookshop and great value too.”

“I was looking for some Summer pyjamas in conventional style &thought I'd found some. However when I checked the sizes an L (large) was only for 36-38 inches whereas M&S for example L would fit 43-44 inches(chest) my size. At Matalan I would have had to go to an XXL or XXXL which were not available.”
“Came on a visit from Hull with friends on the 15th, they have such a variety of clothes to choose from. Bought a green BDG Jeans oversized jumper which fits perfect and was served by a super friendly and talkative member of staff. Would for sure visit again :)”

“Popped in to Rymans for a special type of diary for a friend for Xmas and the shop was quiet for a change so it was easy to go and look for what we wanted but we couldn't find any and asked a member of staff who showed us exactly what we were looking for and she was very pleasant.”
“Bought our knifes from here, staff were knowledgeable on their stuff. Had a issue with one of the knifes, but i rang and it was dealt with immediately, no headache or messing about. Glad i went with ZWilling, the knifes themselves the quality is outstanding 10/10.”

“the gentleman that assisted me was very kind and helpful on all 3(?) of my visits. i bought 6 sample pots altogether and then a 5L tin of the 2 colours i finally decided on. on the first visit he explained how the paint mixing service works and the different finishes of paint available. i was very pleased with my experience at this store and if i decide to paint more rooms in my house this is where i will go to purchase them.i was also happy to know that dulux have a recycling facility if you return your sample pots of paint to them. you be refunded the cost of one sample pot against the price of one large tin of paint. but if you bought a ton of samples like i did they can also be returned and recycled.”
