Absolutely outstanding service and work. Superb results. Peter is very friendly and always offers good advice. Used this local business twice for two different properties and was never disappointed. Team of joiners and fitters always work very carefully, on time and the results are excellent. I would not use anyone else in York. Thank you to everyone at Styles!

Returned some flooring here. My partner phones in advance to explain we had an extra pack and was told we could return it with a refund, minus £30 fee. That was fine. I came into the shop to drop it off, clearly carrying a pack of flooring and the chat at the door nodded his head to a colleague, suggesting he was busy but the colleague could help. Explained to the other chap the situation and he was just so rude. Told me it was not possible to return and asked "well who did you speak to". Fortunately the firstan overheard and explained he had okayed this return. Chuntering the man dealing with me sorted it, but the experience really need not have been so unpleasant.

Very pleased with our new kitchen floor, the team in the shop were very helpful and Sam who came to fit it was excellent, very efficient and polite. He worked hard to do the job really well and overcame the problem thrown at him by the supplier who had sent one box of wrong tiles.

At a time when you think companies would be clambering for custom "Style flooring of York" clearly are doing well without customers.I needed floorings for bathrooms and bedrooms plus paints and wallpaper...Refurbishment starts on the 10th January......BUY LOCAL THEY SAY...????PS...I called in at 8:50am this morning for ideas and advice with a view to getting measured up and ordering carpets and flooring plus paints.

It?s really refreshing to receive genuine, honest advice and straightforward, very fair pricing! The choice was excellent and we were even able to bring samples away for a few days to help us decide! Good advice regarding wear and tear and cleaning too!The fitter was excellent! Even going out of his way to replace our sub-floor because the old one was patched and giving way, very reasonable charge and a good worker! The finished result is fantastic!Overall, an excellent all-round experience - which is great because I now know I can just go to Style in future and not bother shopping around! :)
