“Conveniently located in the centre of Harrogate, with ample parking and easy access. Not the best feng shui for a Waitrose because it was built on the site of an old Safeway. Considering the quality of other shops in town, this Waitrose is adequate but not superior.”

“Move over Eiffel Tower — Sainsbury’s is where the real magic happens. From the exotic land of Frozen Peas to the breathtaking Valley of Biscuits, every aisle is a new discovery. Staff didn’t offer guided tours, but they did point me toward the reduced section — a true hidden gem. Five stars, would explore again.”

“For the size of the town this is a remarkable store. You ca get just about anything here that you would want. Petrol and diesel to frozen and chilled food as well as ambient foods and house products. Even the post office.”

“I was staying in a local air bnb and I went for a run, unfortunately I fell over and grazed my hands an knee I popped into summerbridge stores and bought some plasters, the two ladies in the shop were so helpful and got out their own first aid kit and gave me some antiseptic wipes which were much needed. “Fantastic shop. Stopped in for a bacon sandwich and a coffee when on a walk and owner couldn’t have been more friendly. Lovely seating area at the back. Bakery excellent and they do all sorts of different food on different nights. Well-used and a great example of what a modern village shop can offer.”

“Today at roughly 17:00 me and my partner were shopping here. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the persons name but I was told he was a temporary cleaner. This gentleman took the time out of his day to go the extra mile. He saw that we were struggling to decide on something so he asked if he could help and made an excellent suggestion. He was kind, friendly, approachable and well presented. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is I asked 3 separate staff for his name and none of them knew or found out for me. I thought it a shame they didn’t know his name but he definitely deserves credit. Thank you sir for a brilliant experience.”

“Went for breakfast in the cafe at the harrogate Morrisons. Staff all friendly, however John who was serving the food stood out. Really friendly fella and just seemed to go that extra mile to make sure everything was ok for me and my girls.”

“It's much improved. A few years ago this was a dire shopping experience but they've recently done it out with a total refit inside. It's now modern and the produce is good, esp fresh produce.I'd say forget old memories and try it out.”
