The quality, size and taste of our roast chicken and roast beef was excellent. Promptly served without a long wait for its arrival. All the staff we came across were friendly, polite and ready to please. We will spread the word!”

“Zoubie is an excellent sales consultant. Very friendly, professional, always smiling and makes you feel welcome. I’ve always gone to zoubie and so has all my family. Zoubie always makes sure we have a cup of tea and a cookie before leaving as well.”

“Our stay at Barnham Broom was fine. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good and the Edge Health and Fitness club is a great facility. On the downside, we were without hot water in our wing for 24+ hours. And, as has been mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is a little 'tired' and the lack of walk-in showers was disappointing.

“Had a belated Mother’s Day lunch here on Monday 31 March 2025. All of our meals were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The hosts were very friendly and great fun. I’m 61 and have never been there before-I have really missed out! I will definitely be back soon and I most heartily recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“We arrived at 2.30pm to see if we could get some lunch, we were greeted with a smile and that the kitchen was closed but he would check with the chef. We were asked to pick what we would like form the menu. we both choose Sandwiches and they were fresh filling served with a side salad and crisps. The beer was exceptional, according to my partner. Good to see a pub with locals and tourists along with great service & good food. We will be back.”

“Nice clean, quiet campsite close to Cromer and Sherringham, toilet block was clean and warm with free showers and plenty of hot water, leveling blocks needed for some pitches.”

“One goes there not for the comfort, but for sake of the people, one meets. Every of three times I was there, I talked to people who beamed a feeling of affinity springing from a special character of the place. If you are in the vcinity, drop in. One can reach the place in many ways — consult your map any guide book. Take care in winter. In the summer one can try descending Observatory Gully (not through Gardeloo) from Ben Nevis.”

Food and drinks: Only can be truthful and say OK. Not brilliant. Breakfast was really very good though and good choice and tasty. Evening meal not great.”

“Visit wasn't to shop but to eat in the cafe. We took our 2 grandchildren and found the portion size for our 4 year old grandson perfect. He ate everything he had for lunch therefore no food wasted. Staff efficient although a tad abrupt behind the till. Good value for money in this overpriced world”

“My stay at Dunston Hall Hotel was simply delightful. The staff were incredibly attentive yet discreet, always there when needed without being intrusive. The culinary experience was outstanding, with a diverse selection of prepared dishes that were both delicious and satisfying. Before departing, I indulged in a cheeky beer – as one does – and was pleasantly surprised by the superb variety offered at very reasonable prices. A truly memorable experience all around!”

“Well situated hotel with basic but comfortable rooms. The website warns that due to its location that there is some street noise. Didn't find this to be a problem, but do be warned that on Monday morning refuse is collected along the street at 5:45am followed at 6:15am by glass recycling bins from the nightclubs. A very rude and exceptionally loud awakening!”
