“We have stay in quiet a few Premier inns. Stayed here before. But it's looking tired, and it needs to have a little up grade to keep things working efficiently. . The staff were very pleasant and helpful.”

For starters... local pints or ale...white main course was ploughmans burgers and fries+chicken ham and leek pie with fries and Gravy... would highly recommend them Nich served us what a great guy.... “We stayed here overnight to attend a business meeting of great importance to us as a couple. We met with John & Jane on arrival who are a fabulous , hardworking couple. They greeted us with warm smiles and we struck up conversation immediately. We felt so welcome in their home . The rooms are beautiful, the food homemade and tasty, hospitality was fantastic. Would definitely recommend to stay here and we will return ? ? and the business meeting results were just what we wanted ?Rooms: Absolutely stunning rooms. Clean, attention to detail, adequate condiments, felt luxurious. It's the small things , the little touches, chocolates on fresh clean towels, welcome stickers on toilet rolls, flowers. Beautiful furniture. Simply perfect.Food & drinks: Outstanding homemade food, served beautifully, piping hit, tasted lush. We had fish pie and the steak pie.”

“We went in to buy a new mattress. It was a very good experience. We booked an appt and a sales person looked after us very well. We had to lay on a special bed that measured size, how you prefer to lie to sleep and other things, and recommended the best mattresses for us. We were able to try the different ones. We came out very satisfied ĺooking forward to receiving our new mattress.”

“We come for a couple of nites for our wedding anniversary, and I must say the food was amazing by chef logan and the women who's name was dee dee at the front counter who was on who was doing the bar bringing food out and checking people in was amazing very helpful and polite and couldn't do enough for you I think they both should get rewarded for there service to the hotel”

“Awesome customer service, beautiful welcoming duty manager - i want to say Dina - but I may be wrong....The room was accessible and the breakfast was great!Had a lengthy chat with Dina (apologises if that's not your name!) when I checked out and will be passing on some nuanced feedback regarding things wheelchair related - but generally a great stay for what I needed for a short stop in Derby!”

“Typical Travelodge, brilliant location two minutes from East Midlands airport.Loads of food outlets on site, staff real friendly.Rooms pretty good, we had a family room which had two singles and a double so space for everyone.Like the majority of these motels it could do with a spruce up, I'm sure it's on the to-do list but it serves its purpose more than adequately.Wouldn't hesitate to return as the price is always good and the posher hotels just around the corner come in at nearly double.”

“Excellent delivery experience.They phoned to say they were on their way. Then phoned again to say they were delayed because of a road closure. When they arrived they put on shoe covers to protect my flooring, then took the bed upstairs. Kieron and Kieran were both polite, pleasant and helpful. Thank you ?”

“The hotel was very busy when we arrived as two events were taking place. However, our room on the third floor was adequate and we weren’t disturbed overnight by overspill ‘party revellers’. The following morning’s breakfast was again busy but this was clearly due to those who stayed on for one night following the two events and by the time we sat down for breakfast, a lot of people had dispersed. While staying there we made good use of the hotel’s gym and pool facilities which we enjoyed.”
