“We have just had our wedding at the George hotel Saturday 22nd of march. I can honestly say we had the best time, from start to finish the staff in the hotel were amazing, constantly checking everything was ok, checking if we need anything, they were so attentive and made our day truly special. The food was absolutely delicious and all of our guests were so happy with the food, so many guests commented that it was the best food they have had at a wedding. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, our room was beautiful, food was incredible, staff were lovely and friendly and can’t do enough for you, what more could you want. I must mention Sophie, Lauren and Ian, they went above and beyond to make our day perfect for us, we couldn’t have asked more from them. Sophie is the events manager, from the first time I met with her to discuss our wedding to the day of the wedding she was fantastic, making sure everything was done exactly how we wanted, such a warm friendly welcome, she kept me reassured and calm throughout my hole wedding planning. Ian hosted and stayed with us for the duration of our wedding and what a guy, everything we asked was done. He made sure we had the best time and we really did. We love this hotel so much and the people who work in there make it such a wonderful place to be. We can’t thank you all enough at the George hotel. We will definitely be visiting soon.”

“Clean and well kept hotel. Very easy to find and to park. Staff super helpful and friendly. Will definitely use this hotel again.Sherrie at reception was really helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. She was happy to help us out with advice about the local area, what to see and recommended not driving into the city centre, the Hotel is on a main bus route into town so it’s very convenient. We used the adjoining pub for breakfast which was pretty much the same as all Premier Inns but there are other places very close by which we also used if you would prefer to venture across the road. The only slight demerit is that the room didn’t have aircon which wasn’t an issue in February but could be during summer.Having said that I would rank this as one of the best and certainly the most welcoming friendly Premier Inn we have used.Nearby activities: Norwich city centre is nice especially the cathedral, just don’t drive there!River green very pleasant with lots of local pubs backing onto the river.Wroxham and Hoveton are very pretty towns on the broads, well worth a 20 minute drive.Noteworthy details: The most welcoming friendly staff at any Premier Inn ever! Thanks Sherrie.”

“What a really great evening.

We had a pint first, from their huge selection of hand-pulled beers, then were shown to a cozy table.

All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the pace of service was efficient but not rushed.

Such tasty food, well-presented and good portions.

A very special place, highly recommended.”

“As far as the premier inn goes, it's one more, does its job and it is what it is. Not a five star because it's summer and the provided fan was just useless. Couldn't blow a candle off. I know they all can't have aircon (some premier Inns do have them), however, don't be stingy on the fans! :).”

“Lovely rooms and the food is amazing. Have been for several spa days and will be coming again this week - the treatments are excellent and the pool area is great.”

“Love premier inn. I stay in the weekly with work. Staff are always amazing. Beds are so comfortable that it's always the best nights sleep I get in the week. Breakfast is lovely, and the standard is always the same, whatever premier inn I stay in. I don't normally have an evening meal in the hotel but I did here for both nights of my stay. The steak was cooked to perfection, 5 stars for the chef. Parking is not free, but the multi-storey on the same street is accessible and only a short walk to the hotel. Cost me about £11 for 15 hours.”

“My stay at Dunston Hall Hotel was simply delightful. The staff were incredibly attentive yet discreet, always there when needed without being intrusive. The culinary experience was outstanding, with a diverse selection of prepared dishes that were both delicious and satisfying. Before departing, I indulged in a cheeky beer – as one does – and was pleasantly surprised by the superb variety offered at very reasonable prices. A truly memorable experience all around!”

“Thank you Jordan and your brilliant team for a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Swan today. The roast turkey was so tender - delicious roast all round actually - yum! Despite the fact it is Mothering Sunday today and The Swan was packed, the service was terrific - friendly, thoughtful, timely - Can't fault it at all. We had a lovely meal and very much enjoyed ourselves. Thank you all for hosting us and looking after us so well today x”

“Up to the usual standard for Travelodge which is good, a problem for me was in the hotel building there was no phone signal which ment you have to bye their WiFi which I find unacceptable in this modern age.”

“Well situated hotel with basic but comfortable rooms. The website warns that due to its location that there is some street noise. Didn't find this to be a problem, but do be warned that on Monday morning refuse is collected along the street at 5:45am followed at 6:15am by glass recycling bins from the nightclubs. A very rude and exceptionally loud awakening!”
