“Not from the area and not been in for over ten years. It's a warm friendly pub, plenty of seating and tables. The food looked very nice. There is a good selection of beer to be had. A nice beer garden, overall it's a nice spot.”

“Stopped for lunch and it was great.We sat in the beer garden with our 2 dogs. It was clean and tidy with several bench seats and water for the dogs. Bar is well stocked with several local ales (cask and keg), standard pub prices. Lunch menu had a good selection of sandwiches etc. all reasonably priced. We had the fish sharing platter for 2. At £17 this was great value considering what we got. Smoked salmon, cockles, prawns, whitebait and fried calamari rings with granary toast. All fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and very good. Lots of free parking nearby and the council car park is a couple of hundred yards away.Highly recommended.Food & drinks: They serve ale from a local brewery which ranged from a sub 4% session IPA to some 6% big boys.”
