“Very nice 2 night stay was enjoyed. Hotel is in a nice quiet area but only a short walk to town. Nice room, very clean. Excellent breakfast on both days with multiple choices. Good car parking and you can use it after check out.”

“There is really only one word I could you use for our stay at The Grove and that is “FANTASTIC”. Everything was spot on and perfect the room very cosy and comfortable, the staff always helpfull, polite and courteous, the food tasted amazing and you could tell it was cooked fresh using the finest ingredients. If you are looking for a great place to stay for a night or two or just somewhere for an unforgettable meal than The Grove is the place to go.”

“We had lunch here yesterday The food was great my husband had the curry of the day and they made it extra hot for him just how he likes it!!! I can definitely recommend the pasta.The service was great we we're made to feel very welcome”

“Food and drinks: What a lovely, friendly welcoming little pub/restaurant .
Can't praise the food enough!!
My partner and I had the mussels and patè for starters and Duck and pie for mains .
It was the best meal I've eaten in a long time !?

“Unfortunately, I have removed 2 stars from the service review as I have just been served a large gin and tonic in a pint glass, unbelievable. I was a licensee and can honestly say never, ever have I seen this before. Classy!”

“Myself and my parter came to stay for two nights over valentine's in a deluxe double with bed, breakfast and dinner included. Our stay was absolutely magical, the room was beautiful, the service and staff were amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. We have been able to create memories that will last forever, we will definitely stay again in the future!Food & drinks: The food was incredible, I ordered the carbonara both nights we stayed as it was so good, the portion sizes are very generous and are definitely in line with the price.”
