“We stayed at The Grove for a couple of nights over the first weekend of September - we really thought it was a wonderful spot. The Orchard Rooms have a lovely peaceful setting but are also set out to a very high standard. Spacious rooms, good bed, lots of amenities and unusually good storage space and solid furniture! All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The location is also great, just a short stroll to the town and a lovely brief woodland walk to views of the sea and the cliff top paths. The real star and experience that really made our stay exceptional though was the breakfast - fantastically cooked and obviously great high end produce, a wonderful start to the day. We'd love to come back and stay longer to see much more of Norfolk!”

“Stopped for lunch and it was great. We sat in the beer garden with our 2 dogs. It was clean and tidy with several bench seats and water for the dogs. Bar is well stocked with several local ales (cask and keg), standard pub prices. Lunch menu had a good selection of sandwiches etc. all reasonably priced. We had the fish sharing platter for 2. At £17 this was great value considering what we got. Smoked salmon, cockles, prawns, whitebait and fried calamari rings with granary toast. All fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and very good. Lots of free parking nearby and the council car park is a couple of hundred yards away.Highly recommended.Food & drinks: They serve ale from a local brewery which ranged from a sub 4% session IPA to some 6% big boys.”
