“Honestly, the staff at this Superdrug are just brilliant! I’m relatively new to Southport and wasn’t sure what to expect, but wow - these guys really know how to make you feel welcome.

Every single time I go in, I’m greeted with proper big smiles and there’s always a bit of friendly chat or a bit of banter. It sounds simple, but when you’re having one of those rubbish days or feeling a bit out of place in a new town, that kind of genuine warmth just hits different, you know?!

“After placing an order on Thursday last week which has turned out to be very stressful due to a holiday that was imminent and my need for some new trainers, the service I have received in store at Southport branch, from the initial young lady that served me and helped with my indecisive decision to then ordering to one of the supervisors Damien to the two young supervisors in the store late on Monday night……your service has been impeccable . An issue has arisen with the delivery system of JD to which I am not alone and parcels have gone missing and not been delivered on time, EVRI and DPD have been shocking and I’d suggest you drop these two companies and provide your customers with better level of service when it comes to the online delivery and home delivery from ordering in store. You shouldn’t have to wait 5 days for next day delivery. However this is a review of the service inside the Southport branch and how they have helped me and served my needs and eventually through more of my indecisiveness, helped me to buy my new trainers all on time for my holiday. So thank you very much for all your help and assistance it’s much appreciated at the store level even if the wheels seem to have fallen off JDS delivery service, your level of service has remained high so thank you again.”

The 2 girls at the till (one being a manager) were very patient with me and accommodated me to get the gift voucher working. They showed me how I can continue spending my gift voucher in other shops. “Such a lovely cafe. We went on a Monday lunch time and it was so peaceful and quiet. We got the tea for two for £18 and it was totally worth it. Absolutely delicious. Sandwiches were perfect. The scones were still warm and crumbly. Big mug of latte and a pot of tea and a cake each too. We were really impressed. Staff were lovely, very friendly and asked many times was everything ok. Highly recommended little cafe. Few stairs to walk up to get to but so worth it :)”

“Rang them today as I was unsure what size shirt I was, spoke to a member of staff called Gemma, who told me to pop in. Once instore she sorted my problem out within minutes.I left with perfect fitting shirt and super happy!She was Really friendly and very easy to talk to, could not recommend Gemma enough!!! 5stars great service”

“Cavernous place with a huge variety of trainers and workout clothing. I went in for the first time yesterday and was initially put-off that I couldn’t find anyone to help me. But then I found an assistant, Aiden, who couldn’t have been nicer, more patient or more helpful. He helped me find the perfect pair of trainers and carried them to checkout for me.From now on, I will go no where else for trainers and gym stuff. A++++”

“Love this store, everything is set out well, so it’s easy to find. Only problem I have is the check outs are upstairs so you have to make sure you have all you want to purchase from the ground floor.”

“Great retail park. Easy to go do your weekly shop and pop into other shops or grab a coffee whilst you are there.The only issue is the expense of parking. But if you are buying in asda you can get this reimbursed.”

“We shop here frequently, and like most large supermarkets, it is invariably busy.Parking is in a large pay and display car park, shared with other stores in the retail park. The fee is refundable only in Asda with minimum purchases of £5.The selection of goods is as expected for a large superstore, including a variety of household items, electrical goods and clothing, in addition to the usual food stuffs and produce.Also like many supermarkets, the ratio of self-scanning tills to those operated by staff is not quite right and there are almost always queues. The self scanners always require the intervention of staff, in my experience. Today it went wrong right at the start after weighing our empty bags. However staff intervention was quick and efficient on this occasion, despite it being busy. This is not always the case.The store contains other services including photo printing, an optician, and a pharmacy, all of which, I have used many times previously, and can recommend.”
