“Cracking pub with really high quality food; wanted to rate as a four as the drinks prices do seem very inflated when compared to similar pubs in the area - but my visit was faultless other than slight downside. Will be back!”

“This is an amazing shop with amazing staff!Nothing is too much trouble for all of them !You are left to look around at your own leisure without any pushy salesmen insight!!Such a relaxed atmosphere from the moment you walked through the door!!I think I must have visited the shop, to sit on our two new armchairs chairs, at least 20 times before we made up our minds wether to buy them, it is a big decision! Never once did I get the feeling they thought “oh here she comes again!”The after sales service is excellent! Any problems and the owners are out straight away to ensure things are immediately put right!! always keeping you fully what is happening.I cannot recommend this shop enough and I only wish customer service was as good from some other stores!A real credit to Stamford and just so happy to have discovered them!!”

“We had a two night stay at the William Cecil Hotel, which was booked as a special deal, through Waitrose? We enjoyed our stay, staff very friendly, Sergio hotel Manager very good, and always on hand! On departure came the crunch? Handed key to reception? And was told there is service charge for certain items? Which was not or never mentioned when booking, or whilst there? It marred our stay, as we did tip front of house staff? We would think twice before re-booking a second visit? Carol”

“We only went there for a cuppa but the service was very good. The George is a very lovely old building and definitely worth a visit. I have heard that it is good to stay there but haven't tried it yet.”
