“Well kept beer to start, and on happy hour.Dinner was great, very tasty beef and Stilton pie plenty of vegetables chips and gravy. Creme brulee pudding spot on.Very pleasant staff, well done everyone.”

“We stayed overnight and ate in the restaurant. Very pleasant welcome, we opted for the food off the Indian menu. My husband had an issue with his starter which was quickly rectified, the rest of the meal was lovely and tasty.”

“Stopped by for Sunday dinner and it was really good. We had the whole roast chicken for two and it was really good and unique. We would've liked a bit more vegetables to go with it but for the amount of chicken you got we cannot really complain. Very cute inside and the fire on meant it was lovely and warm. Would definitely recommend :)”

“Breakfast service seemed a bit chaotic. We had to ask to order our hot food after sitting for nearly 15 mins. When it came the order was wrong and some of what we had was over cooked.They also need to sort the toaster out so it toasts both sides at the same time without having to mess about changing speeds etc. Shouldn't have to think that hard in a morning!Food we had in the evening was beautiful. Overall the hotel is great, with lovely staff.”
