“We are regulars to the Chequers for a nice dinner out or a special occasion and have always had a fabulous meal here. The place is an interesting rabbit warren of rooms and a lovely snug bar with an open fire, plus lots of outside space in the garden. The sharing steak is always beautifully cooked (actually we like it very rare which they achieve every time) and the accompaniments are lovely. It’s a lovely treat having dinner at the Chequers. The wine list and excellent draft beers are extensive, plus if you wish to stay over, the rooms with a lovely breakfast are very nicely designed. It has a warm atmosphere and the staff are great. Keep up the excellent standards please, as we love it!”

“Grantham Travelodge great. Just as I would expect lovely, clean, spacious rooms. It was very hot and the room they gave us had a drain outside which didn't smell nice! I asked at reception if we could move and she offered me a choice of other rooms, which were still next to our son's room, no questions asked. Excellent customer service.”

“Nice Travelodge. Do yourself a favour if you want food.come out of the services and go to the truckers cafe next door on roundabout. It is a bit rough and ready but the food is amazing! Trust me,you won't regret ”

“Great place to shop if you are looking for bedding and kitchen accessories, we like to visit as you can see and feel the items you are looking for. I know they sell loads of products too, rugs, curtains and various other items but we went for specific items on this visit. I have to say we are very happy with the items we purchased which were a new Duvet, Wok and a Table Cloth.”
