“You can see why this store is one of the best in the North West. It's very clean, nicely laid out and a very wide selection of stock including popular named brands you'd often find in your big name shops. The self service checkouts are also a nice touch and really useful when store is busy.”

“Booths is a high end supermarket where prices are on the higher side however the produce and quality of the items is worth the extra price. This store recently underwent a refurb and added a cafe on site which provides light food, cakes and drinks at reasonable prices. Ample amount of parking available with it being free for the FIRST HOUR then a pay machine at the door if your visit requires longer than that. Located close to the bus and railway station makes it easily accessible for those travelling from out of town.”

“I like this Lidl store. Nicely laid out and stock is easy to find. I also enjoy the in-store bakery. Also the 20% off all bakery items after 7pm Monday to Saturday with the Lidl plus app is an added bonus. They're encouraging less food waste and you're saving money, plus the app is free. What's not to love about it. More stores could definitely follow suit with their procedures for food waste”

“Well stocked for everyday essentials, has a little of a lot such as stationary, cards, flowers, cleaning / beauty products and toiletries, a cold room for beers and a good choice of wines and spirits as well as random things you don't see folk buying (firelighters being one of them??) Mostly, staff are friendly and pleasant although a select few can be so rude and unhelpful it deserves formal recognition. The same few will continue stocking shelves despite frequently being elbowed by someone standing in the half-mile queue and despite colleagues pressing the get your arse on the till button repeatedly.”

“Just moved to area to discover very poor selection of organic anything. However had a chat with Manager who was on the floor. Unusual they are usually hiding somewhere. He was very interested to know of my disappointment in the lack of organic produce. He took of list of my regular buys and said he would do his best to get them in. Thank you Paul.”

“Nice decent sized Sainsbury's store located in the centre of town. Reasonable prices and a decent variety of stock available. Nice added touch is the in-store Argos branch which is always handy for picking up items ordered online.”
