“I shop here around 3 times aweek. I like that it's never really busy and at times quiet which i appreciate. The staff of whom I have got to know over time are very professional and hard working. The isles are kept clear for customers and the shelves are also stocked to my liking.”

“This store is staffed with helpful, friendly people. It has a reasonable range if foodstuffs at competitive prices. The downside is, that the aisles are very narrow , a revamp making better use of the sales area perhaps?”

“Quite surprised on quality of veg and meat, we’ve not been for a while as we’ve been shopping at tesco. Didn’t realise how much cheaper it is, will definitely be shopping more often at Aldi”

“Fair pricing always gets different things to try. Some of the new staff need to learn how to smile but those who have been there awhile are always cheerful and helpful.”

“They were the first place to start selling tomato wheat crunchies, following a 3.5yr hiatus when they disappeared from supermarket shelves across the country during COVID.This shop has by far the most impressive drink and snack selection in a pretty wide area.”

“Store is nice but can be quite untidy with lots of stock on the floor.. hit and miss with the homeware department..Lots of damaged opened make up itemsAlways really hot (no aircon)So I don't stay as much as if like to. Ques can be long.No customer toilets”

“Good variety, competitive prices but staff is under pressure to work quickly and as a customer I feel like an inconvenience by the time I get to the checkout and despite my mobility issues, have to work quickly, risking damage to my purchases to get them into my trolley quick enough”

“This was a pick up a few bits shop.So firstly they have parking. 1*Secondly it is ground level and wheelchair accessible. 2*I recall that for a convenience store I did see bread, milk, toiletries, cleaning products ect as for fresh and frozen products I didn't really look so can't comment.I did pick up an OFFER on tuna. I wasn't going to buy tuna, so always good to get a bargain 3*The fourth star goes for the young lady at the checkout. 4*The tuna had two "pricemarks" one which wasn't an offer, and one that was!!I asked for a price check, and was given one without hesitation and with a lovely smile on her face while doing it.She helped with my shopping and nothing was too much trouble. ?One reason why I didn't give five stars besides the fact this was a flying visit, was I wasn't able to purchase an essential item."The gluten free selection was on the day I visited quite poor."”

“I only give it 5* because it's the cheapest petrol in Blackburn. If I lived in Preston I would go to Sainsbury's where the petrol and Diesel is far the cheapest fuel I seen”

“I found this store contained all the things I expected a store of this nature to contain. Items had been organised by type rather than, say, alphabetically or by colour. Great variety, but one star deducted because it turns out you have to pay for the goods. (Awks!)

Update: it's still there.

Fairly spacious store with a strong showing in refrigerated goods.”

“This has been a great convenience store for over 55 years. Always good, helpful and friendly. They’ve taken over the village Post Office too a while ago. So you can get Postal services 8am-10pm weekdays. And Saturday & Sunday. Excellent”

“This is a much better store than Accrington, which let's face it is in dire need of the move to Hyndburn Road, if it ever happens! Knocking off a star however due to the staff on checkouts constantly using their headsets to have a good old chin wag whilst serving customers, drives me mad!”

“The cash carry have amazing goods in all categories at great prices. Parking may be a problem but there is parking around the area. The community is fab and the workers there are great and are good use to you as they help you around the shop. Just hp go round have a look and enjoy the Asian cuisine foods and other culture foods. Prices are standard and better than other stores. Just like mini ASDA.”

“Friendly staff and there are rarely long queues as customers are served quickly. The blonde girl who is often on the checkout is always very helpful.

Only dropped a * as the product selection can sometimes be limited - though I can strongly recommend the tear and share garlic bread often on sale at the entrance.”

“I've driven from other end of blackburn just to visit this petrol station exceptional service all the workers offer wide range of services and are very friendly down side in the local community seems like alot of jealousy from certain parents there's alot of kids hanging around late in evening causing mischief for the staff stealing chocolates and causing damage to the building #Bang out of order wheres the parents for these kids absolute disgrace”

“A decent sized Morrisons located in the centre of Blackburn opposite both the Bus and Train Stations. Large multistorey car park provides enough spaces for shoppers. Wide variety of stock and produce on offer at reasonable prices. Added bonus of a launderette in store allowing for ability to do washing whilst shopping saving for a trip to a launderette elsewhere. Everything is easily laid out and plenty of staff on hand to help should you require it. Huge number of both self service checkouts and staffed checkouts means that queues are usually small.”

“I always have a great experience shopping at Tesco, and it's definitely my go-to supermarket. The selection is fantastic, offering everything from daily essentials to more specialty items, and I particularly appreciate the wide range of fresh produce – it always looks vibrant and high quality.
What really stands out for me is the organization and cleanliness of the stores. Even during busy periods, the aisles are generally tidy and well-stocked, making it easy to find what I'm looking for. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with queries or point me in the right direction. Their efficiency at the checkouts, especially with the self-service options, makes for a quick and stress-free shopping trip.
The Clubcard rewards program is a huge bonus, providing genuine savings on my regular shop and exclusive offers that I find really valuable. I also appreciate the convenience of their online shopping and click-and-collect services, which have been a lifesaver on many occasions.
Overall, Tesco offers a reliable, comprehensive, and pleasant shopping experience. It's a supermarket that consistently delivers on quality, value, and convenience. Highly recommended!”

“A brilliant little mini market with very friendly staff. They are open all hours through holidays such as Christmas, New year and even during the lock down. I would be lost without this handy store and recommend it to anybody.”

“One of the smallest Tesco Express stores I've visited, but all your usual every day essentials were stocked. Could be hard to move around and keep social distancing if it gets busy.”

“I have to agree with the comments about the 40 year old bloke with short curly hair, tho I wouldn't use the words disgusting and I don't care about his life. But he needs to make more friends with customers instead of ignoring them. I have also been asked for ID, it's a joke, they should know how old I am by looking at me, it's not like there going to get in trouble with the police or a fine, they only work in Tesco, what gives them the right to ID me. Why the the 5* review your wondering?? Because the store has what I want, it's convenient, it's clean, and the rest of the staff are friendly. And one person doesn't make a store. I have no advice to give, don't think anything will change.”

“It is really a good shopping centre for multiple purposes. Excellent grocery, bakery, good reasonable Crockery, dresses and many more sections available here. World food is also there.”

“This is a small grocery store on Chester Street which seems to have a lot of customers coming to it weekly. They have decent prices here with special offers on some of their groceries at times here. Its a small spaced shop which means if a lot of customers are here then its very uncomfy waiting here. I only come here at times to get a drink and get that in minutes. A lot of their items are over priced.”
