House is nice, location is quiet. Beds comfortable. Mini bars ofsoap provived. Would of been nice to have more than 4 toilet rolls for the whole week. Shower doesn't get hot before 8am or after 9pm. We had a brilliant couple of weeks at Appuldurcombe in June this year. We celebrated my wife's significant birthday with all of our family and filled the Farmhouse and Ox House for the weekend and hosted a lunch party for 30 people. Appuldurcombe Farm is a unique holiday destination. Four beautiful cottages (for 2 to 30 guests) in 200 acres of rolling hills and woodlands. Tranquil and isolated but within walking distance of shops, pubs, and restaurants and a short drive from wonderful beaches and the charming Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor. The farm is within the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and close neighbours to Appuldurcombe House with its English Baroque architecture and Capability Brown gardens. It is a Dark Skies site with low light pollution - great for star gazing! It is also a great location for many outdoor activities and the farm is crossed by the 13-mile Worsley Trail for walking and the 32-mile Red Squirrel Cycle Trail.
