House is nice, location is quiet. Beds comfortable. Mini bars ofsoap provived. Would of been nice to have more than 4 toilet rolls for the whole week. Shower doesn't get hot before 8am or after 9pm. Need to take your own dishwasher tablets, washing machine tabs, shampoo, body wash and cling film. Heating is controlled by the thermostat, there are no instructions for this so takes a while to figure out how to turn it above 17c. Stone floor in hall and dining room would recommend taking slippers if you visit autumn /winter. Drive way up to house is very bumpy due to uneven road and pot holes.Edit: I ran the shower for 20 minutes at 7am it was still cold. Farm house was fine the lack of instructions and information was the problem. There was dishwasher salt and rince aid, no tablets. I commented the items were missing because funnily enough I didn't find any! My review was acturate for my stay. If you can't take criticism that's your problem. There were many other points I made that you haven't commented about. Only providing 4 tiolet roll for 1 week for 10 people's is rediculously cheap of you considering how much it was to stay.

We had a brilliant couple of weeks at Appuldurcombe in June this year. We celebrated my wife's significant birthday with all of our family and filled the Farmhouse and Ox House for the weekend and hosted a lunch party for 30 people. We stayed on in the Farmhouse for the week before moving into the annexe, Willow Cottage, which was just right for the 2 of us.All the properties were well equipped and ideal for the family (spanning 3 generations) get-together. John and Tracey were extremely helpful and did everything they could to make our stay memorable.Appuldurcombe is a very special place - with a really relaxed, and relaxing, atmosphere and amazing views across to the mainland and Sandown Bay.We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!

Delightful place, but so very remote. We had a massive problem on our first night with a would be intruder. The police refused to come out, but emailed us loads of stuff about victim support. Not much help when someone is trying to hammer the door down. We managed to get a ferry back to the mainland the next day - making our stay at the Farmhouse the most expensive overnight stay ever!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Very spacious and clean. The panoramic views of the Island were incredible. We hope to visit again.

Booked The Ox House through AirBnB - contacted the day before to check about high chair and half an hour later the booking was cancelled due to a double booking. Had already paid for ferry tickets, kennels & cattery for our dog/cats. We were Sent all the booking info only the day before telling us ?get ready for your holiday!?. If I hadn?t of contacted them to find out about the high chair we would have travelled all the way to IOW to find ourselves stranded with no accommodation with a 1yr old and 3yr old!! Do not use this company otherwise the same could happen to you. Flabbergasted.

Stayed at one of the cottages on the farm, beautiful, very well equipped, everything you would need, just a small thing, not enough hanging space, or hangers, but so peaceful, with beautiful scenery, loved it, woul go again.
