“Long queues nobody serving except 1 person!! The poor staff will struggle at Christmas unless Management sorts this!! TK MAX can be hit and miss, I suppose it's when the delivery arrives. Last weekend they didn't have what I was looking for, yesterday.....Bingo, the perfect size, strong handbag, love my new high street purchase!”

“Great staff service . Very friendly. Eager to help find prices for me. Shame they were not on the shelf to start with. Lovely selection of most stuff I went in for with my son ( who I was visiting ) apart from cat litter trays that was our main item and there was only 1 style of those so never got to purchase one in here. Toilets nice. My potty training granddaughter needed the loo so it was a good send having them in the shop. Reasonable prices considering the state of the country and ridiculously hiked up prices in the shops and fuel stations now.”

“It was M&S for coffees, Eccles cake and chocolate croissant today at M&S Altrincham; a rather upmarket posh village. The coffees were cappuccino and splendid Cortado. The iced water on tap. The village has a delightful market in the centre where one can buy dressed crab, cooked whole lobster and my absolute total, complete favourite, in all the world, potted brown shrimps, sealed in butter. Forget caviar and lobster this, with good buttered toast, is the true food of the gods. Ambrosia. There are flower sellers, cake sellers, sellers of LP's from the 1960's, cheese sellers offering small batch local cheeses, folks with woodfired ovens for sourdough pizzas, beer and wine sellers, upmarket hand made chocolates, oriental and Jamaican food (I don't think I could face goat curry) and a fish & chip shop. I'm sure I've left out a lot of purveyors in this snapshot. It's also teeming with competitively priced coffee places, cafes and bars and as the competition is so fierce there's no downmarket offerings.”

“Open only for collecting orders due to COVID restrictions. They have sealed off the entrance with glass panes providing a collection point. Quite good safety measures!!”
