“When I retired from Shell and thanks to many business trips, I had over a million points and Diamond Status on Hilton. Thanks to my Hilton Aspire Credit Card, I'm still Diamond and a couple years later, I still have a lot of Hilton points. I was able to use these points to book 5 nights at the Trafalgar St. James in London. It's even a better deal as when you book 4 nights on points, the 5th night is free. Except for an irritating at most out-of-order spare elevator, this Hilton stay was stellar in all aspects: LOCATION - The Hotel is across the street from Trafalgar Square and the Charing Cross Tube and Railway Stations. It's also a short walking distance to anything in Covent Garden (including West End Theaters) and other Central London sights. ROOM - We had a nice and very roomy King Room, that was almost Junior Suite in Feel. We enjoyed spreading out, hanging out, and planning our days activities. Coffee, Cookies, and Soft Drinks were all complimentary. BREAKFAST - At the Rooftop and subject to a separate 5 Star Yelp review. We also came up for Dinner one night and had a fabulous evening out and enjoying the view. SERVICE - We got daily Housekeeping, which is still not a thing in most US Hotels post-COVID. The Front Desk folks were very professional when we asked for directions, recommendations, printing out our Fulham FC tickets, and taking a Royal Mail Delivery. Above and Beyond. If we ever come back to London, you most likely will find us here.”
“Stayed for four nights of pure bliss. Really great hotel. The spa is a welcoming oasis in a bustling city. Very nice rooms and fantastic service all around. The staff is so warm and made our stay memorable. We would definitely stay here again!”
“In the past few weeks I have tried Saison (dinner) and The Drawing Room (breakfast) and I can attest that this is a top notch location for both! Absolutely love the hotel, it is stunning, and the food and service did not disappoint. Great wine list too! I will be back...”
“We had a wonderful afternoon tea experience. The service, the atmosphere, the deliciousness of the food, everything is perfect. It was the best day of my life with a surprise celebration.
If I have a chance to go to London again, this is a restaurant I would like to visit again.”
“Excellent rooms, excellent service and very friendly staff. Also it's perfect location means you're less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest tube station and there's plenty of restaurants to choose nearby and a couple mini grocery stores. Breakfast offerings were simple but enough to get you started for the day and tasty.”
“Check in was a breeze and I’m happy with the requirement of room key to go up the elevators. However, the room I got for the first night was disappointing. There’s a lingering sewage smell that just permeates the room. I did not sleep well due to the smell and so the next morning I asked to be switched to a different room. The new room was much better and no more sewage smell.”

“Great modern hotel in a good - and very safe - location. This is a recently developed area with lots of flats and offices so it's clean, quiet at night and safe to walk around. Friendly staff, nice clean room, typical upmarket Hilton linens, good shower. Breakfast buffet is the best I've had in London outside the Waldorf Hilton. Hotel is convenient. Plenty of sights within a short walk. 2 minutes walk to London Bridge station. Good selection of places to eat and drink and there's even a Marks and Spencer food hall opposite the hotel entrance (plus 2 nearby supermarkets). Easy (and inexpensive) to get to from Heathrow by underground, take the Elizabeth line and then change at Bond Street for the Jubilee line to London Bridge. (Or change at Liverpool Street for the Northern line if the Jubilee is not running.)”
“A short 8 minute walk from the tube station one stop away from thr O2. 14 stories, king size executive rooms on the top 3 with an exec lounge on the top floor. 3 large and quick elevators help to keep waiting times down. Wifi included with the room, very comfortable bed, fridge, tea and coffee, ironing board, hair dryer. Reception is very well staffed, restaurant for breakfast is great and also open for lunch and dinner "bar food" which is okay.”

“Fantastic location. On the north east corner of Hyde park and next to the marble arch tube stop. The staff on every level was ridiculously friendly. Amazing doormen, front desk staff was so accommodating, old school service with a smile and friendly greeting no matter where we were in the hotel. Fresh flowers rotating on the lobby were a big hit with the wife. Rooms were very comfortable, with Japanese style toilets, robes, comfy beds with pillow menus, safes, upscale shampoos, soaps, and lotions.”
“On vacation with a friend, we appreciated the location of this hotel, close to the center, very well located for visiting the capital, but I will especially remember the kindness and availability of the staff. In addition, it is a very beautiful hotel, full of charm, with its tastefully decorated living room, the breakfast room, with its veranda, I had the impression of having lunch in a winter garden and the kitchen from the chef, who I recommend!Everything is there for a wonderful vacation!I'll come back, I promise”

“This place was my home away from home while staying in central London. The location is absolutely perfect, especially if you're going to see any shows. It's easy walking distance to so much with a lot of great eating options. Very close to multiple public transit options as well.
The rooms are clean, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've had while staying at a hotel. I loved that even though I was staying in busy London, the room was quiet and cozy.
The staff were helpful, friendly, and professional.
If I had any complaints, it's that the lifts can get quite busy and crowded since there are only 3 for such a large hotel. But there was easy access to the stairs too.
Also be mindful that if you're booking this hotel for laundry services, the prices are exceptionally steep. I ended up going somewhere else for laundry.
Overall, though, I would most certainly stay at The Strand any time I come to London.”
“Incredible small.boitique hotel with amazing decor, very friendly and accommodating staff! Breakfasts are a must (especially the smoked salmon bagel). One of the most charming hotels I ever stayed in!”

“Great spacious pub with a good selection of beers and solid food. Excellent garden area, parts covered so you can always eat outside if tables available. Service was really good - on our visit, waiter suggested what we’d ordered might be too much food - and he was right. Could easily have let it go… impressed by that ??”
“Been there yesterday for afternoon tea. Absolutely perfect. The best afternoon tea in London and probably in the whole world. Waitress Angela is superb: extremely multitask, efficient, and entertaining! ❤️❤️❤️”

“The Connaught Patisserie is excellent. I celebrated a friend’s birthday and the cakes were divine, beautiful to look at and even better to taste. The young lady who took care of us was very helpful, incredibly polite and full of wonderful recommendations which we happily accepted. I believe her name was Aminata, and she was lovely:”

“It was so pleasant to stay at the Hyatt Regency Blackfriars. I was tasked with finding London accommodations for my wife and I for our 10th anniversary trip. I finally decided on staying with the Blackfriars because of their close proximity to the metro station as well as the freshly remodeled rooms.I emailed the hotel ahead of time to arrange for a few things and corresponded with Jo who was absolutely wonderful. Upon arrival, Jo arranged for our room to be decorated with rose petals and balloons. The hotel also sent up champagne and cake to celebrate our anniversary with us. It was such a special touch that you don’t see many hotels do these days.On top of that, the hotel sent us a very sweet and meaningful gift. They heard that we were in town to watch a Spurs match - something that I’ve wanted to see live for a very long time and they gifted a Spurs mug. I’ve never seen a hotel provide this level of hospitality before it was beyond kind. All in all it was an incredible stay and we’ll be back one day!”
“Sensational experience! Excellent neighborhood, with the metro (Gloucester Road) in front of the hotel. Several cafes, restaurants and “convenience” nearby. With ctz this is a place we would stay again!”

“We stayed for two nights in London following our cruise that sailed from Southampton. The primary reason I selected this specific hotel was the close proximity to the Gloucester tube station which was our meeting point for a motor coach trip to Highclere Castle. I used my Marriott AMEX Brilliant free night award combined with Bonvoy points. 75k per night. Later I realized other great reasons to stay here. 1) It's a very short walk to Earl Court tube station. Take the short cut as you walk down the hotel one way driveway to Hogarth Road. Then it's 5 minutes to the tube entrance. Catch the Piccadilly line to Heathrow. 2) there's an executive lounge onsite. Located sub level. Stocked with bottled beverages, water dispensers, and hot food 5:30p-7pm daily, wine & beer served then, as of this writing the espresso machine broken, and 3) included breakfast in the Cast & Iron restaurant. Friendly hotel staff. The concierge Ash was very nice. He actually walked us outside down the hotel driveway to show us how easy it was to get to Hogarth Road. The hotel proximity to two underground tube stations was a big plus. And a very short walk to Kensington High St shopping district and restaurants was nice and convenient. Our hotel room was tight but that's London. Came with a Nespresso machine and several pods. Two bottles of still water daily. I'd consider staying here in the future.”
“Had a full body massage as a birthday treat and it was the best massage ever.My masseuse was Nassera was very talented and caring .her massage was absolutely divine.i would definitely come back.”
“We had the most amazing afternoon tea experience- one of the best in London. The decor was stunning, the pianist in the background was the perfect touch. The afternoon tea itself was divine; perfectly rectangle finger sandwiches the classic fillings all elevated. Scones were nourish and warm, we loved the chamomile infused strawberry jam. The cakes were also gorgeous, particularly the pear and almond tart. The Dorchester fine china elevated the tea also and made sipping my teas even more pleasurable.Tan our server was lovely- she went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. She gave great tea recommendations, offered to take lots of photos of my mum and I. She was so attentive and warming- a star.We definitely will be returning.”
“Very quiet, location is brilliantWalkability: We walked every where from church hill war rooms, big Ben, Tower Bridge Covent Gardens Leicester Square, piccadilly circus Buckingham palce”
“Bulgari Londrino is very well located and safe. There are good restaurants, shops and attractions nearby. Excellent and attentive employees, wonderful breakfast, top marks.”
“It has been a pleasant experience right from check in process handled professionally by Vinjilla at the front desk. She was exceptionally pleasant and welcoming. My room at the extreme end of 7th floor is provide the much needed privacy and tranquility.I enjoyed playing my music through the Bluetooth speaker provided in the room.Breakfast in bed was prompt at appointed time brought by very nice and polite room service staff.Rooms: The room is cozy and well lit. Temperature control works perfectly.In-room entertainment could be improved by making the television Netflix enabled as the channels are boring to me.Nearby activities: Malls and shopping places are close to the hotel.Food & drinks: The breakfast buffet has a lot of options to choose from.”
“Lovely establishment. Location as central as it gets. Good breakfast spread included. Highlight is master bartender Tony and frontdesk Tishana. Equivalent of a 5 star service reception. Highly recommend.”
“Had the best week at the hilton. Kingsley was a superstar. He accommodated all needs of the team. Give this guy a raise as one of the best person I've met in hospitality. Can't wait to come back!!”
“Absolutely fabulous ambiance and delicious food! Our experience was enhanced by the humourous waiter Manuel! He was professional, immaculate service and extremely funny :) we couldn't have asked for more and we will definitely return back! Muchas gracias !”
