“Came here on a Monday for our anniversary lunch. Welcomed by friendly staff on reception who knew it was our anniversary and wished us well. Ditto the barman. Had the fixed price three course menu. Really excellent locally sourced food at a reasonable price. Restaurant not overly busy but good attentive service from waiting team who were happy to accommodate our requests. After lunch we had time to explore the delightful grounds and the walled garden and the gardener was happy to elaborate on the helpful notice boards he’d put up. Highly recommended.”
