“Really convenient place to fill up and shop if you're caught short. But be warned use of Shell App has caused me a massive headache here:\\n\\nApparently if you dont have good phone signal payments can fail, in which case you're just kept waiting, and they shout at you from the booth.\\nLast visit the pre-payment/authorisation system flagged fraud to my bank, and my card was stopped.”
“I'm very loyal to the Co-op brand and in particular all the Chelmsford Star Co-op stores. However despite the advertised closing time of 10pm on a Saturday, I was extremely disappointed to find the shop already closed at 8:58pm on October 28th 2023. If the advertised closure time is 10pm then it should be 10pm”

“Like another reviewer, I used the Hermes return service for an Amazon item. Amazon say that the store will pack the item for you but it seems none of the stores do this. I blame Amazon, not the store. Compared to the other two stores I tried to use, the service here was very friendly. I wasnt initially intending to buy anything but did some additional shopping in the end, just because the lady on the till was so helpful.”

Claire, the out going Manager has been amazing, engaging with her customers and leading a well motivated team who always do their absolute best to meet customers needs. “Today's shop was mostly for obtaining ingredients for making cinnabon style cinnamon rolls. I was unable to get cinnamon, the shelf had a clearly marked spot of this but unfortunately it was sold out, two rows. I almost gave up looking for icing sugar, luckily found it at found level. The Skippy peanut butter is over priced, compared to Morrisons, by over a pound. A surprise was finding blue Gatoraid! Monster Energy drinks lack variety! Even the local coop has a better selection. No waiting at the tills. All in all good shopping experience today ☺️.”
