“Good selection of food and wine here, has a bakery section and a little cafe area with some seating. Store is spacious and clean. Car park at the rear is a bit limited and difficult to turn around in.Close to the middle of town so parking nearby is easy.”

“Im so impressed, despite living in the sheltered accomodation in Douglas Gardens for over 5 years I only found out recently that they deliver. As my health in general and now Covid19 I can't always get out.Being deaf means I can only text them which no issue.All i do is text what I need the day before and he delivers it down to me. Its been a such a help. I now never have to worry about running out of basics if I can't get into town.He carries all the basics you may need plus a few frozen items. There are loads of photos on his website to see items sold.It fantastic service and one I'm so grateful I found out about.Thank you so much”

“Our local newsagent closed after over 20 years so we had to change to get our paper delivered. After using a national car delivery service which got later and later we switched to the Village Shop. Their paper delivery service is excellent and our paper always arrives by 07.00”
