“This waitrose is generally very good. Staff are lovely and always go out of their way to help. That being said, all the meat is absolutely rancid, all the time. Cold meats are usually an off grey or brown colour and the mince meat is the foulest thing - 5% fat for 6.50, and it is always brown or a grayish brain type colour throughout, smells awful and the bags it is sold in are always inflated. Bacon is left on shelves completely grey , and the roast beef joints are always going grey. I've wasted so much money hoping that the next piece of meat I buy is going to be a of decent quality.”

“In an age when the corner shop is disappearing we are so lucky to have this shop right on our doorstep.
Sadly we have lost the post office here many years ago, and the cash machine a while back, but we still have every other aspect to our emergency or convenient shopping needs.
Because if it wasn't here with Mrs Patel, Sunny and their lovely staff at the helm we would have to go to town or go without for so many things.
During Covid-19 it was a lifeline for so many who didn't want to venture further because they were afraid or vulnerable.
Workers as well as the elderly pop in for their newspapers seven days a week as well as those dropping in on their way home after work.
Generations of families have popped their heads around the door of the shop to be greeted by their first first name and a welcoming smile and a how are you.
For many especially the elderly this could be their only human contact each day.
White van deliveries come and go, dropping off and taking away those parcels that keep us going in different ways.
As well as the fresh goods arriving on a daily basis to fill our needs and tummies too with milk, wine, food and sweeties too.
How lucky are we to have this friendly family run business right on our doorstep....we are.”

“A useful store for groceries and other stuff that can be found in this location, which is close to the river and has a coffee shop in this location too, a little bit of everything at this location with a good car park area and other supplies to be found here as well.”

“I have used this shop for a long time now and its the only shop i would use on nevill estate. Its open long hours with a large selection of alcohol,sweets,chocolates or even your usual grocery shopping items. Not to mention the half price national newspapers! But be sure to try out the home made selection freshly made and damn tasty!”
