“This Sainsbury's is situated in a very convenient location and offers a variety of services, including a petrol station, currency exchange bureau, clothing, and a recently added Costa coffee shop. There is also a Timpsons store outside, and ample parking is available.

One of the standout features of this Sainsbury's is the exceptional quality of its fruit and vegetables.

While the prices may be slightly higher than some other supermarkets, it is possible to find reasonably priced items, especially with a Nectar card.”

“The store has a nice, relaxed atmosphere which makes the normal food shop experience much more pleasant. Aside from what you'd expect of the usual Waitrose quality, the service here is exceptional. I had the pleasure of being helped by a lady called Paula and she couldn't have been more helpful. Down to earth and not at all stuffy, she's a real credit to you! The people manning the self service area are also lovely, very friendly and courteous :)”

“Fairly well stocked. Dates on a few chilled items were quite soon so we chose not to buy them. Some bags of frozen items were split so the freezer was littered with loose produce.Process on most things are higher than average.Staff are always friendly though.”

“Shared an experience b4 on tgis tesco, well done staff for coping with a crazy crowd of teenagers, some of which were pinching, but what can they do in a busy store, with petrol flowing, pumps beeping, shelves constantly being stocked, filled, tidied. Always well sticked even though it's always busy. Quickly park after petrol to do a top up shop.”

“David the Manager kindly gave me his ear to listen to how a photo from Tesco as the Data Controller under the Data Protection Act 2018 has been used incorrectly to accuse my daughter (a regular user of the petrol station) of an unpaid fuel incident by Forecourt Eye (who I assume is the Data Processor) and have not been helpful in resolving this issue. Hopefully we will get an update soon.”

“Had an issue here, and it was self inflicted, but the staff and manager were absolutely great, I had made a purchase, paid cash and didn't take an invoice, but needed to cancel the purchase, after my explanation it was all sorted effectively. Thank you all, much appreciated”

“Lovely corner store with absolutely everything I need at a moments notice. Can't do a big shop obviously but the staff are lovely and the main security guard that is there is always very friendly.

Always cross the road safely and use the lights, it can be a dangerous intersection, but worth it for this little shop.

Good deals on booze usually too.”

“I want to give a 5-stars customer service review to young Abdul who, after seeing me only a couple of times collecting parcels there, today saw me in the queue, remembered my name AND last name, and promptly delivered my parcel, wishing me a good weekend by my title and last name. “As a vegetarian family, they have everything we need. Excellent quality vegetables, a large selection of kefirs and yogurts. Great prices with the Tesco card. Exceptionally friendly service, just like shopping at a family-owned store. No lines, a peaceful shopping experience without crowds or searching for products. A small, friendly shop.”

“In these absolutely crazy times as regards Petrol/Diesel Sainsburys in West Hove service and organisational skills are second to none. Incredibly organised, extremely polite and helpful to everyone, if only all supermarkets were like this. The way in which they have manned the Petrol station in such an efficient way, also making it abundantly clear when they have ran out of Petrol, which unfortunately can't be said for alot of the other stations. “Take no notice of reviews saying lack of stock, because I went in and managed to get pretty much everything on my list. Good mix of brand and non-branded essentials. What would make this store perfect is to please could security move on the beggars outside. it’s the main reason i put off going into this store, they sit by the cash point as well don’t feel comfortable using it”

“Best Tesco in the World. Love the atmosphere and the staff being helpful while also having good banter and also they always have good music with customer singing along roo. And it's not just me I've heard lots of people say how friendly this Tesco store is. I'd deffo go back. Probably for more chocolate haha”

“Great Tesco apart from no cold beers now. Handy as near my brothers house, watched Man City beat Arsenal last night. Had to cool the beers in his freezer. So no cold bottles of beer but have Arsenal bottled the league”
