“As soon as you enter the Hove store you are taken care of! Excellent customer service given by all who work there.Free coffee with your loyalty card (bring your reusable cup) I think this is brilliant, saves people discarding and littering with single use cups!”

“This is a fantastic sainsbury's! The people who work here are very friendly and do their jobs brilliantly. My only gripe is this branch has stopped selling Alpro unsweetened soy milk haha”

“Fairly well stocked. Dates on a few chilled items were quite soon so we chose not to buy them. Some bags of frozen items were split so the freezer was littered with loose produce.Process on most things are higher than average.Staff are always friendly though.”

“Friendly staff, I was looking for Hungarian food. The shop have some, but it's a mixture from various countries. I supp6 it depends what you're looking for.”

“In these absolutely crazy times as regards Petrol/Diesel Sainsburys in West Hove service and organisational skills are second to none. Incredibly organised, extremely polite and helpful to everyone, if only all supermarkets were like this. The way in which they have manned the Petrol station in such an efficient way, also making it abundantly clear when they have ran out of Petrol, which unfortunately can't be said for alot of the other stations. Hopefully we will get back to some sort of normality soon. Well done Sainsburys @ West Hove Petrol station.”

“One of the biggest co-ops I've seen. A huge range of items but then some "normal" items missing in place of more specialist ones. U need to park your car/taxi very close if you're planning on doing a "big shop"”

“Great Tesco apart from no cold beers now. Handy as near my brothers house, watched Man City beat Arsenal last night. Had to cool the beers in his freezer. So no cold bottles of beer but have Arsenal bottled the league”

“I am pretty useless when it comes to doing the air in my tyres, but after filling with fuel, i asked inside, if somone would be able to help me, they were busy stacking shelves, but 2 volunteered to help, I thought it would be health and safety nonsense that noone could, but they did. And also being able to do the water for the wipers, and grab today's bits from the store. Great all round. Thanks Tescos staff.”

“Had wonderful service from your colleague Marie on Tuesday. She was covering the self serve desk around 4.30pm. I got a rescan and had to do a full scan as two packets of something were stuck together so had only been scanned once. My daughter has broken her wrist and I have had my vaccine jab which I had a really bad reaction to so we were both struggling anyway. Marie kindly took us to a spare till and helped process the whole shopping with such loveliness and cheer. She realised how I was feeling and really went that extra mile. I even forgot my pin due to my poorly state and she was patient and kind and didn’t make me feel embarrassed at my ditziness! Eventually we got there and Marie really deserves a big THANK YOU from us. Please pass this on to her and let her know she is an asset to your team.”

“Phill on the Friday night late shift not only helped me get through a seamless nectar point fulfilled checkout but recommended me to the double decker duo that I truly appreciated, plus he enjoyed my dreadful "dad-like" sense of humour at 1:40am. “Take no notice of reviews saying lack of stock, because I went in and managed to get pretty much everything on my list. Good mix of brand and non-branded essentials. What would make this store perfect is to please could security move on the beggars outside. it’s the main reason i put off going into this store, they sit by the cash point as well don’t feel comfortable using it”

“Hi, ever since I've moved back to B&H and had some serious health issues (still ongoing), I was always 'appy to go to this store specifically because of an security guard who is in his probably mid 50s, never had I've met a more well behaved gentleman, so kind,helpful,funny and an example to the younger generations how a man should behave! I can't put in words how this man is being so positive, throughout the pandemic I could see him and hear him encouraging people in the queue, speaking shortly to folks and at least for a minute making them feel special in terms of being human. This kind Sir has kept his cool even after the worst was over in terms of Covid, God bless you kind Sir! Cheers”

“I've been to the Tesco express store dozens of times. The place is a nice opportunity to grab a quick meal. The staff are lovely and most of the food is eatable. But I must say that the bakery stuff could be restocked more often.”
