“I called in to arrange someone to measure my 2 bed cottage, Gary agreed to follow me back there and then. He was extremely helpful and very friendly. I went back with him to the shop and he helped me select an off cut that would work for the kitchen and a carpet for stairs and one room that would match with what I already had.They understood that I was under a financial and a time restraint and the carpets were fitted at an excellent price, very quickly (about a week) which was exceptionally good considering the kitchen floor needed an awful lot of preparation/drying time before laying Lino.I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them.”

“I wanted to relay my decking . Never attempted to do anything like this myself. I went to Wickes in Hailsham and asked for help from Steve and Jamie who both went out of their way to assist me. They worked out how much material and decking boards I would need and explained how best to complete my boarding. They even arranged for it to be delivered over two days so that I didn’t have to store items in the driveway that was needed to park our cars.
I now have the most perfect decking and only ended up with 1 board left over and half a dozen screws.
Thanks to the service of both Steve and Jamie I now have the confidence to do more diy and will be returning to Wickes in Hailsham for more advise as I now have the bug to do more.”
