“Went in today because I had to send a parcel via dhl and this is the closest place that can send and print the label. Was served by what can only be described as an absolute queen of a woman. Fast service, knew exactly what she was doing when the tech of course threw a hissy fit, multi-tasking between customers whilst making everyone feel like they were important. Thank you wonderful lady whose name i didn't get unfortunately”

“I’m a frequent shopper at homesense and I love it, I love finding new items and I probably pop in once a week as I live close by.

I’m a retail manager and I’m very passionate about customer service and Today I had Brilliant service from the guy who served me at the till. I Didn’t catch his name but his operator number is 4863.

He was friendly, smiley, helpful and efficient. He even spotted my empty drink cup in my hand and asked if I wanted him to put it in the bin. This wasn’t even in my mind as I was going to dispose of it outside the store but this is an example of elevated customer service. It doesn’t need to be out of the box or show stopping, what counts the most is the basics and how you make your customers feel.

Thank you ?”

“Staff are always really helpful here, and there's usually lots about which is great for me, a person who has no clue when it comes to DIY but tries it anyway, ha!

There's lots of plants and garden stuff, also lots for birds but their suet bars and pots melt in the sun which isn't great as poundland ones last a while. There's also not any border tables or stuff like that, but they do have a good selection.

They have a paint mixing desk and a lot of paint selections for varying needs like metal, wood, and interior walls. However, the focus tends to be on interior and exterior walls. You can only get coloured wood paints (unless it's for gardens) via delivery online, which is frustrating as you then have to pay delivery fees.

They have a good bathroom section and have people who can help you design your bathroom (also with finance if needed, which is great).

Great for general DIY, builders and gardeners alike

Accessible for wheelchairs and lots of free parking nearby.”

“Max made us a chunky shelf to go above our wood burner and we absolutely love it. Communication was great, he worked really fast and you can tell he found and treated the perfect piece of wood for us.”
