“It does seem that a lot of people within the customer service industry just don't take 'customer service' seriously. However, I always find that if I, the consumer, is polite and dignified then in return I'll generally receive good service. Remember if you have an issue with an establishment it's almost NEVER the fault of the person you start RANTING to when you walk in/phone up. If you do start kicking off then you're less likely to endear yourself to the other person and your complaints will be a much prolonged and tedious process. Anyway.... My point is essentially treat others and you would expect to be treated yourself. I've never had any problems at Barclays. I've always been treated with respect and with a polite attitude from all the staff.”
