The person I spoke to (a senior staff member) got quickly to the source of the problem, fixed it simply, and I was on my way in no time at all. Excellent service from beginning to end and the branch deserves its 5 star ratings from me.In recent years customer service at Lloyds has plummeted to an all time low. This is because this over internet -ed company has completely lost the plot with real people. Closing branches across the country is the major cause of this problem.So, let me suggest that the Managing Director takes a trip to Driffield Lloyds to see how it should be done. Then, tell the board of directors that if they continue to pursue shutting branches, they will achieve their objective and lose all their customers too.Wake up, Lloyds Bank...and please start to live up to your reputation just like the hard working staff at Driffield are doing...they are your greatest asset and not the virtual Bank you are determined to create.”
