“Thank you to all the lovely staff who looked after me on Friday 8 December. I got to the checkout and started to feel quite unwell as if I was about to faint. I asked for help from a member of staff who got me a chair and a glass of water. Meanwhile the unloading of my trolley was completed and put through the checkout. Another member if staff packed my bags for me. When I eventually felt well enough to leave, I paid for my shopping and was accompanied to my car and my shopping was put into my boot for me what excellent service. Thank you. (It was actually Thursday 7th when I visited but doesn't alter the fact that the staff went over and above their duties to help me).”

“Having tried fruit and veg in a number of other popular supermarkets recently (avoid Asda for such products), it has all been superb so far. We have not tried many of the other items yet, hence the not quite full 5 yet.”

“A lovely little supermarket with a nice varied selection of stock. A little of everything appears to be the order of the day here.Prices are slightly higher than the bigger supermarkets but that is to be expected of convenience stores.Good selection of wines and beers if you're looking for a cheeky tipple on your way home.Decent sized car park too.”

“This is a small-ish branch of Sainsbury's set on Yarm High Street. Being a small-ish store, however, it doesn't carry that big a stock range, although it does stock a pretty good selection of products really. They stock the usual essentials like bread and milk, also frozen food, tinned foods, toiletries, biscuits, chocolates etc. They even stock some of the not so essential items like toys and jewellery. The staff are helpful and friendly, and on the whole it's quite a nice little store. There is parking on Yarm High Street - but that does get busy so there is also a dedicated car park for Sainsbury's customers at the back of the store (although you are limited to a one hour stay). Also, another good point, you can earn Nectar points when you spend money in Saisnbury's.”
