“I only popped in to by some stamps and i found it to be great, very helpful polite staff, both in the post office and behind the counter. Very easy to get parked right outside. Cheap and convinient, lots to choose from plus all your essentials, and the best thing is they have a FREE cash machine!”

“Brilliant staff. After dropping my mobile phone in the taxi on the way to West Hartlepool Rugby Club last night I came into the store to enquire about where the nearest phone box was so that I could contact the taxi company as a matter of urgency, and Robin and her colleague went out of their way to help me. They were brilliant. Thanks to their efforts I got my phone back that same night. Given that they were busy serving customers this was especially kind and I wish to say a huge "thank you" to these nice ladies. Much appreciated!”

“Called in for the first time to return and amazon parcel.The lady behind the counter was so helpful. There is a machine in the store where you can scan a QR code and complete the process yourself without having to deal with the busy staff in the store. If you forget the wrap your parcel they have lots of bits and bobs there for you to wrap your parcel in store (for a small cost).The store has a costa machine in it. They seem to have absolutely everything you could need and they are extremely pleasant which makes this a fantastic store.(Wish I lived closer I would always use this shop if so!).Very tidy store and overall a very gold experience. The staff are so lovely I hope they are appreciated by senior managers!! (Called in Monday 19.2.24 around 6pm).”
“Thankyou to Lewis and the other staff today. An unfortunate event was taking place in the entrance/exit. A shop lifter was being restrained on the floor by security as they waited for police.
I had my 6yo son with me at the self serve. A female staff member gave Kobe a chocolate lolly and Lewis walked us out of the store the back way and round to our car, to avoid my son having to witness the event happening at the front door.
Kobe is completely unaware of anything that was happening other than the shouting and because of you I have a very happy little boy rather than a frightened one.

“Tidy little home bargains based upstairs in Middleton grange Shopping Centre (although probably will be shut down like most of the decent stores).
The store is clean and tidy and well stocked. It's probably one of the smallest Home Bargains I've ever been in, but it's certainly the cleanest. The wait at the tills was next to nothing, too, which was a bonus. The store is spacious, and there's plenty of staff around to help if you need pointing in the direction for specific items.
Home Bargains is an excellent store anyway, but I do like this one. Even though it's a touch on the smaller side, it still stocks everything I would personally buy.”
