“Amazing local store. I remember coming here 4 years ago when the store wasn’t great. It has since been refurbished and it now looks really nice inside. The owners and staff are always very friendly and never fail to brighten up my day.”

“The customer service in this store is nothing short of exceptional. I had a problem with a whoosh delivery, rang the store got to speak to lovely polite staff who went above and beyond to sort out my problem.
On a busy Sunday afternoon nice to know customer service is an absolute priority.

“Visited the cafe for lunch for two. The new self order board was now in use and was straight forward to use. Ordered the tuna jacket potato and large all day breakfast. Tasted lovely and could not fault. Also ordered two lattes which were of decent size. Pleasant roomy cafe with nice decor. Comfy seating is available for those whose bodies don't like the solid chairs. Definitely would visit again soon. Just read through a few other reviews and noticed that you are only allowed a 2 hour parking time. So if like me you do a shop after the cafe make sure you note the time you arrive as getting a fine is not what you expect when eating and shopping.”

“All of the staff are lovely and polite, ready to help if you need it and now they have new fridges the shop looks much better too! Prices are high without the offers or deals they have on sometimes but it’s a garage so that’s to be expected.”

“Great shop accepts all card payments ,no min spend, and the staff are excellent and the prices are great. You can even get posh ground coffee for £1. Always a pleasure to go to the shop as paypoint and Hermes parcel pickup and drop off”

“Bradbury garage is currently (March 2025) undergoing massive improvements in the forecourt for cars and HGV'S so isn't great at the moment. That said, it's one of my favorite stopping places en route between. Teesside airport and Northumberland. They have a well stocked shop for hot and cold drinks as well as a good choice of sandwiches and pastries.
There's a picnic table at the side for those who want to have a rest before continuing their journey.
At the moment it's looking very sorry for itself but I'm sure the future reveal will be worth the wait. ?”

“Thank you so much to the ladies who helped me so much late evening the other night.I'd just come just come out of hospital and had been there since the early hours in the morning.I wasn't well at all and pumped full of pain relief and extremely confused and disoriented.I'm already disabled and was finding it extremely difficult to find my feet.I hadn't eaten at all for 36 hours and was in desperate need to get my blood sugar up.The staff were absolutely brilliant with me and made sure I got everything I needed, sat me down and also put me into a taxi.Thank you so much ladies.Unfortunately I don't know your names however, I'm sure you'll recognise the story once you've read this.Karen x”

“Spent a few days in Sedgefield and my young nephew bought a top up card for his PS. Back home in Scotland he discovered that there had been a technical glitch with the do it yourself till and the voucher would not work. Store manager Mike went to great lengths checking out sales records and straightened out the problem for him sending him a new code in order to access his £20.Service above and beyond - thank you Coop!!”

“I live almost next door so it's handy, but I actually stopped going in for ages because the dark haired Rachel is rude offensive and should keep her opinion to herself. She has on a few occasions embarrassed me by saying loudly are you drinking ? When I've asked for wine or half bottle of vodka. This has gone on for over a year. So I politely told her I didn't appreciate her comments only last week, tonight I went up to her to be served and she walked out back and left me standing the other assistant was confused and looked perplexed so he asked to serve me instead. Seems like she wants to keep this strange behaviour going on for longer. So I'm going to speak to head office. Everyone else in the shop is outstanding especially Julie Wright and Doreen”

“The staff are great. They go out of their way to help and never moan. They put up with so much nonsense for the local nutters you can't expect people being paid what they are to take on youth puffing away on their wacky baccy.”

“I like this little convenience store, they sell an array of items. If you find yourself short of something, chances are you will be able to buy it in here!Situated very close to the train station so very nice and handy to grab a quick coffee if you're going on the train anywhere, as they have a Costa machine located in store.Staff are pleasant. Usually plenty of items on offer. They also have a tango machine (which kids seem to love). AND they sell red top milk!!!”
