“We stayed in a holiday rental in Cornworthy and needed dinner on arrival after a long drive from East Sussex. We walked to the Hunters Lodge inn in hope of dinner, and boy what a find! Lovely food, reasonably priced and the staff treated us not as tourists but as if they knew us from the moment we walked in! We just had to go back the next evening, which happened to be New Year’s Eve. We were yet again welcomed in as part of the village, and celebrated with staff and locals in front of a warm fire, with great nibbles and drinks! A proper pub! Make sure you visit!!”

“I hadn't been to the Cott for quite a while, it's always had a great reputation. I went for lunch with friends yesterday and we weren't disappointed. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, we all had the seafood salad which was so delicious I'll have to go back again to have it again soon. It comes with skinny fries and a slice of sourdough, beautifully presented.”
