“Stopped off for a pint on our travels. Nice locals pub set amongst the village streets. £4.30 for a pint! Can’t be bad ?Noteworthy details: Be careful when coming out of the pub as it’s on a bend in the road ? not always a busy road but should be noted.”
“This has always been a favourite of mine. Summer visits are very busy, so my go-to times are the winter months. Step one is a bracing walk around Bantham Ham then , step two, back to the cosy, welcoming interior of this very old pub. Log fire, glass tankards hanging above the bar, welcoming staff, and a lovely choice of local beers and beverages. The food menu varies but delivers quality, quantity and value. I chose the home cooked gammon with two eggs and crispy chips and peas. My partner chose the humus dip. They can get busy so to be sure, time your walk and book a table!!”
“Just stopped by for Sunday lunch .. the welcome was warm and friendly. Plenty of room for diners and lunch was excellent! Opted for dessert ? and was great, beer also wonderful standard ?”
