“Torquay staff always very helpful, but annoying that to get my club discount I had to buy on line only, so standing in the shop and having to go on line to buy an item, they could not apply the discount on store, ridiculous!”

“This primark has the nicest staff. There was a skirt I wanted On a model, I couldn’t find it anywhere so I asked a member of staff and 3 members tried to find but they had sold out apart from the one on the model and they took it off it so I could buy the skirt. 10/10 customer service”

“This place is rammed packed full of clothing, so it might take a while to have a good old rummage here. The clothing is probably aimed more at the mature generation, but it is a good place to pick up a nice warm jumper, fleece or body warmer if you need one.It does have the biggest selection of shortbread and preserves we have ever seen in one place though, so definitely pop in if you want some biscuits or some chutney.”

“Been a Yours customer for years in three different areas. Overall very pleased with the selection. Staff here always pleased to help. Do order from home and get it delivered to store because if I have to return after trying on in store it’s easier to return. As the courier firm is a nightmare for pickup returns and i do not have an easy to get to locker box etc.”

“This a regular visit for us as we love the staff and the customer service at the cafe. The young staff member is extremely helpful and goes out of their way to help make the visit the best it can be. The young member of staff who I recall being called Rae is very friendly and helpful and a credit to the store.”

“I came into the store today to buy some warm stuff, and stupidly I had an open can of drink open, which spilled all over the till area and floor. The staff member who served me and the lady who cleaned it up was super friendly about the whole thing, I felt awful but they made me feel so much better about it. Thanks so much guys ?”

“Great staff, very helpful, I needed a men's dressing gown out of season but a member of staff went the distance and got one for me. The recipient is delighted with it and I'm a happy bunny. A++++++”

“They do have some good quality t-shirts, hoodies etc and usually have some sort of discount offer on, so it's always worth waiting as you can usually get the item you want cheaper than the full asking price.”

“The Asda in Torquay is a really handy supermarket with a good range of groceries, fresh produce, and household items. The store layout is easy to follow, and the George clothing section is a bonus for picking up clothes and home essentials. Click & Collect is convenient and usually runs smoothly.

Staff are generally friendly and helpful, and the accessibility options—like wide aisles, mobility scooters, and accessible toilets—make it easier for everyone to shop. Parking is spacious too, which is a big plus.

At busy times it can feel crowded, and occasionally a few items are out of stock, but overall it’s a reliable place to do the weekly shop.”

“Lovely store -but what a shame you decided to close today . QE2 would have wanted us all to carry on , not close a shop , King Charles III will be working today.”

“I must admit I did a lot of research into the company before I ordered - they were the only place on the internet that had the shoes I wanted in the size I wanted anywhere. And they shipped to New Zealand. It all seemed to be too good to be true but tt was good and it was true.Great updates from the moment of order, stock confirmation and tracking. Arrived on the other side of the planet within 2 weeks and very reasonable shipping.Very, very good service. Good job.”

“This review is about M&S opticians at the Willows shopping centre, Torquay.Having being a Spec****** customer for 25 years I was very nervous about going elsewhere, but as I was not happy with my previous opticians and a very good local one in the town where I lived closed down I decided I would try M&S but not buy from them if I did not like the service I got. I WAS EDGY AND NERVOUS!! I had phoned in to check whether, as and old age pensioner, I would have to pay anything as I got a 50% off voucher sent via email after my wife booked the eye tests. The person who took my phone call was a little hesitant so I proceeded with caution. I NEED NOT HAVE WORRIED! Bethan and Adriana were so patient, polite and helpful with an old dodderer like me! A very rare experience in this day and age. The Optomometrist, Marjan, was very thorough and coped with my constant questions very professionally. After all the tests I needed a coffee and time to think about their recommendations but I was so impressed I went back and placed my order. My wife felt the same way and also bought new glasses, so they got some money from this old skinflint! I eagerly await getting the glasses and hopefully solving probems I have lived with for a few years. If it is possible to add to this review I will as soon as possible. MANY MANY thanks to all at M&S Opticians in Torquay.”
