Have just stayed for 3 nights at The Belmont, Sidmouth (10-12th Sept) and had a very nice time. We did have a lovely stay for a weekend.
It is definitely a traditional hotel with some very old fashioned ideas , like dinner jackets and ties for dinner in the evening. We’ve stayed at 5* hotels all over the world and only ever had to dress smart casual. We didn’t go down for dinner because of this and ate out at... read full comment
