“Just come back from a weekend here and rebooked already for next year . The lodge was amazing , beds comfy , so much space . Netflix was a bonus and the hot tub fab at the end of the day . Staff in the restaurant were Friendly & helpful , food nice . Definitely a hidden gem away from busy lives . See you in 2026”

“This a truly beautiful hotel. Our room was perfect, the bed large and comfortable. The service was excellent. However we found the food underwhelming and not up to the standard we would have expected. The menu did not really appeal. There was nothing that really made you go wow! Our food was ok but nothing special and considering the prices should have been much better.
Breakfast was good. A little disappointed as we were expecting great things.”

“Great owner run hotel!Very friendly welcome and room upgrade ( unsolicited) which is always well received ?Bedroom large and clean. Tv, tea/coffee facilties etc. Good wifiFree car parking......virtually unheard of with the chain hotelsBreakfast was included for me. Breakfast times a bit limited (8-9am) but the owner did allow me to get something at 730. Breakfast menu picture attached.No evening food, but local pub a 10 minute walkWould stay again!!”
