“I can usually get what I need from Aldi ,3%-5% British minced beef always good quality. Chicken - Chicken fillets don't really buy from there anymore ,I find that there are usually one or two fillets in the packs to have the look of being pumped up and hard , the result is the chunks or complete fillet are chewy and hard . I fully understand how the current situation as inflated prices , my average shop used to cost me around £30 -35 that is without meat , the price now is around £45-£48 which is as a comparison narrowing the gap considerable ,between other leading super markets ,so not sure if I'm still getting the same value for money ?”

“Plenty of parking spaces and a well laid out store making it easy to get around.
Good range of products but make sure to have a Nectar card as it can make your shop significantly cheaper. They also price match Aldi on a number of products.”

“Went for the cashpoint and went inside. Unfortunately anything I'd have bought using clubland prices would've have been no use to me until I've had my spine procedureHowever with what I did buy, I was served by a very nice person. Hence the 5/5.”

A great selection of grocery and household items. A great Bakery. If you arrive at certain times the bakery items are Hot and you feel like buying some Butter and just enjoying the bread outside the superstore. The butter just melts into the still warm bread!
As its summer in the UK many gardening miscellany are also sold. We purchased some Lavender for our garden.
A very cost effective shop can be had here.”

“I can walk to the one at Cavendish, or take a bus. Although it's busy in the car park, there is usually a space opens up fairly quickly. And the parking on the street is reasonable. I like the prices here, they are competitive, with new products coming in all the time. Not too long wait at the tills, and friendly staff”

“A good little station but loses a star as its too easy to put in more expensive diesel as pumps not as clearly marked as others because I've never had an issue with diesel and the more expensive one previously.”

“Nice selection of bits and bobs especially little Xmas gifts snacks and treats my sister went in to have a gander and come out £60 down but she did get quite a lot and she said ahe dis luke the bargains she got there”

“I love the fact that I can buy individual fruit and veg here, sometimes I don't want a bag of a certain veg or fruit, I just need 1 or 2. I can do this here, and its always good quality. That said, everything I've bought, across different departments is of good quality.”

“Good well stocked store with friendly and helpful staff. This store is smaller than the other two stores in Derby but still has a home delivery service. Parking can be a problem near the store at times.”

“Today evening I had the pleasure of shopping at a store where the young lady at the till was helping me and was incredibly nice. She was so friendly and helpful, offering advice on different products, and helping me find what I was looking for. She was also very patient with my questions and was willing to take the time to answer each one. I felt like she genuinely cared about the customers. She was well experienced would definitely recommend this store 24/ hours which really helps when you’re really in need.”

“Sainsburys in derby's Derbion shopping centre is a fantastic place and has excellent customer service experience and quality care from management and colleagues. The security team are excellent and give quality care along with Sainsbury's management and customer service teams in an emergency. The quality of service is at a very high standard and management and colleagues also security help and support all customers and sainsburys colleagues. I love shopping at this Sainsbury's store. 5 star quality at its finest.”

“Nice store and helpful staff so gave 5 stars, but I got £100 parking ticket on the store car park whilst shopping. Advised by Nissa head office to write letter to store manager for them to contact SMART PARKING to get fine cancelled, which I have done.We'll see what happens.\\nLow and behold 4 days later I get annother £100 fine for a separate parking infringement whilst shopping in store.”

“Friendly, helpful staff with everything you would expect from a local coop.There is a fruit and vegetable section, fridges with ready meals, sandwiches, salads cooked meats and pies and dairy products and another isle dedicated to tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate and a drinks isle stocked with a good selection and wine and beer. The spirits are behind the till with the cigarettes. The only downside to the shop is the narrow parking places outside and trying to park at busy times”

“Convenient location and plenty of choice.Felt a bit understaffed on an early Sunday afternoon - self service tills seem to be the original ones they installed a few years back and in need of updating.”

“I love shopping here as I can get top up shop and use my clubard i always shop here the store is always clean and I’ve used both self checkout and and normal check out but only problem is that i hardly see security there like I used too so what they should do is hire someone to do security during the day and some at night and or install security cameras throughout the store as they only seem to do security at night when they close at 11pm I mean if your going to do security they should do it at the door and before people walk in do a bag search to make sure they are not carrying anything illegal in and when they same when they come out and check the receipts do security things on all items and install security thing on the door that way they can protect the store more from thieves and don’t get me wrong I love the place but I feel they need to up the security more on the door”

“Always a very pleasant experience shopping in this attractive, well-run and well-stocked store. Staff go out of their way to ensure they can be of service, offering a wide range of high-quality fresh foods, ready-made.meals, cupboard items along with some very tasty special occasion foods and treats. “Plenty of free parking, very accessible and a good sized shop, never seems too busy, Argos Nextdoor and Homebase. One of the cheapest places for fuel also. Only downside is getting out of Kingsway at lunchtime!”
