“For a fairly small shop they have a wide range of products. Staff are friendly and well organised. Still have some of the offers that are seen in the main supermarkets. Clean and tidy store.”

“This Co-op store is one of the best supermarkets I use, other supermarkets falling by the wayside in comparison. It's a small store but is well stocked with the essentials and luxury goods. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, one member of staff is exceptional, who always makes me feel at ease. I thanked her for her work ethic last Christmas by giving her a little gift. The day I brought it in, she wasn't working and I gave the gift to a member of staff to give to her. I asked him to tell her NOT to take any notice of the box I had put her gifts in as I save boxes throughout the year and use them to put Christmas and Birthday gifts in. He didn't!!!!!! ... As a consequence, after taking the paper off the gift and she saw the box, she thought she had been given a laptop!!! After Christmas when I saw her, I explained what had happened. We had a good laugh however, more importantly, she was delighted with the soft wool scarf and luxury chocolates I had given her... phew! ... After Christmas other, if not all, members of staff have given me a condensed act of the help she gives, which is very welcome and I have no doubt at all that the service will continue to improve as time goes by.In view of the above, I give this store a mark of - 100+!Carol Topliss”

“Brilliant shop most of the time, no problem, just recently it's a problem with some of till staff that seem to be don't want to sound rude but maybe in bit older age and can't always keep us with amount of people and line to the till can be massive. But overall, good shop”

“I have been here its is accessible for wheel chairs. Staff are very pleasant but its a small store compare to the main Sainsburys as i said staff are welcoming and there to help and there is enought on the floor to be able to do this. Its nice and easy to manouver pushchair abouts its got what you want but there is no toilet there for you to use. Hope you find this helpfull.”

“Be warned, if you are used to Tesco/Morrisons/Asda etc. Aldi does not mess around. You will be processed through the till extremely quickly. For me that's a good thing but it takes a bit of getting used to and can be overwhelming first time. I think it's fantastic. Saves me a load of time and it keeps the prices down. This isn't the biggest Aldi but there's a fairly good selection. I don't often need to shop elsewhere.”

“Great little shop, stock a wide variety of items, not as much as a larger supermarket but certainly a bit of everything. No wait at the self service checkout, minor wait for manned checkout. It was also clean and tidy”

“The staff were pleasant and the shop was well stocked. However, the price of fuel wasn't shown on the electronic sign, so you were at the pump before you knew how much you were going to pay.”

“been several occasions where staff not shown up to work in the morning so they’ve opened up late... other than that it’s a decent shop with nice friendly staff.”

“My local Tesco Express in Woodville/Swadlincote is great. They're always smiling, helpful and generally really lovely to chat to. The store is aways filled with great basic essentials, some nice choices of their fancier items and of course, a devine selection of wines and chocolates. It's my favourite supermarket in the UK.”

“Definitely my favourite supermarket in the area. Despite having a Sainsbury's near us in Burton, we still prefer to drive here. Wider range, and a better setout”
